I said I only agree with it in certain situations. I just don't believe its murder till the child is born. I'll find out if I'm wrong in heaven.

Well, it is my firm opinion that abortion is not murder, and I guess I'll find out in heaven if I was wrong or not.

But the fact is that it's murder. Why do you go against the Word of God when it says it's murder? Such spirit of rebellion

Just because everyone says its murder doesn't make it true. It is not a child because it is not born.

There is proof that the baby is alive before birth, on day 22 the child's heart is already beating using his own blood, not his mothers. By the end of third week the child's backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape. week 5 Eyes, legs, and hands begin to develop. The bible is quite clear against murder, is this not murder?

if i were to kill a pregenant mother ( no matter hwo long she has been pregenant) and killed her, i would also be killing her child - putting an end to the childs life aswell as her - i would be put in jail for double murder.

However: if i were to kill a person who is not pregnant - i would beput in jail for murder

Also: how can a mother choose to kill her own child and get away with it but if i were to I would be put in jail?

Actually that law only applies if the mother is 6 months or more pregnant. Its a mother's choice since the child is not born. I think they should change that law anyway.

Well I'm in America. I don't think they should charge it as 2 people its only one person they are killing.

I just find this topic quite clear. It's not as if we are discussing capital punishment, which can be fought on both sides with scripture support. This is something that I see NO scripture for it. and TONS of scripture against it.

I think its a matter of your beliefs. The only verse that could have proved it was an old testament law in which we don't follow anymore. Its all a matter of opinion either way its not a big deal to me because I wouldn't have an abortion, but I'm not against anyone who does.

who says we dont follow old testament laws anymore? :S so thou shalt not murder wasnt a law. what about stealing? lieing? are those not sins?
