Mark Chapter 12

[SUP]3[/SUP] And they caught [him], and beat him, and sent [him] away empty.
[SUP]4[/SUP] And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded [him] in the head, and sent [him] away shamefully handled.
[SUP]5[/SUP] And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.
[SUP]6[/SUP] Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

Now I only gave this scripture to show you that many believers were thumped or beaten so why would you think it any different for a sinner? Saul killed many believers or beat many thumped many. I am saying to you we stand with Jesus and how he conducts his affairs is his business when we are following his way we don't worry about what others think or to use your term give a rip. You added bible thumping that must be correction and chastisement you are referring to.
Saul did that against the Jews before he converted and this verse is pretty irrelevant meaning it doesnt mean that we have the right to thump someone

I see that you lack understanding of course he did it while he was in sin! Get the connection as Saul he was a sinner and did as sinners do but the word was still going forth. He had an experience that changed him in the midst of his sin but the word went forth. We cant stop the word it will accomplish what is was sent forth to do,

no I never said that you inserted that assumption so your bigoted remark I strike due to ignorance as well as your hypocritical remark they neither apply

I guess the thread is to shed light on how foolish some are to think sin is ok in any setting and how this blatant disregard for God and his ways is being rammed down the throats of believers while some sit by and say its ok let them do as they want its their life. I don't really know I didn't start the thread but I sure do have a biblical thought so I added mine thoughts as others.

And I'll tell you that is incorrect God hates sin and he specifically mentions sodomy in the bible and sodomy is modern homosexuality so what is you though to that. As to the depression been there. I understand it more than you know. The military did a number but God cleaned up that mess!

Hmm...He can play if he's good enough. I don't care if he's gay or not. Sports are about ability and excellence in athletics. However, if Christians want to give their opinion on homosexuality that is their right. Just don't start with all the bigoted nonsense of gays aren't good at sports and all that.

I've said my opinion on homosexuality and on the eligibility of football players.

Ok lets take the military for example the Bible is clear on murder, thou shall not murder correct? I thought so, Therefore we should not be in war. Anyways back to what you are saying, If I were to die, God would only judge my heart its called heart sight.

Gentlemen, please don't continue. I fought about this earlier, only to have my point of view garbled into an argument of he said she said. It goes no where fast. I've given my view and even opened up to some very personal things on this thread. Either discuss or rant somewhere else. Don't just start saying things you'll regret.
