Sometimes you need to know that your ex is being prayed for, and you want the best for them, but you dwelling on the matter, or your inability to pray good things, makes praying for them hard to do. I mean, I have been wronged by an ex too, and was deeply hurt. I totally get the anger, and wishing my ex was eaten by a shark has ran through my head, among other things.
But at its core, I think of my ex rotting in hell, paying for the things he's done, in essence paying the price for what he did for me, and it doesn't make me laugh. I really worry about him, and all I can do is pray God will call to him.
Maybe I'm taking this too seriously and being a kill-joy. I apologize if that's the case.

This thread is a great way to get the perspectives of others. It's true daily life ordeal many people who have been hurt while in a relationship experience. It's one of those things we can't just throw under the table. Remember this it's not the problem, but how we deal with the problem that sometimes become an even bigger problem. But just think about this suppose every time we rebel against God He thinks so cruel towards us? But he doesn't He loves us unconditionally always n forever. Pray always without ceasing, do good always.
