[1]We know we are born again, Through faith,
Jn 1: 12--13 says anyone who receives Jesus, [As Lord and saviour] is born of God.

So you ask Jesus to come into your heart as your Lord and saviour, Then you receive Him into your life, By faith.
Faith is the root, Feelings are the fruit.

[2]The feelings follow faith.
Your life will be changed, you will have God's divine nature 2 Pet 1: 4.
God will change you and mould you into the person that He wants you to be.
You will want to live for Jesus.

The when you get baptised in the Holy Spirit, Jesus, God and the things of God will get deeper, Your love will be a deeper love for God, Your joy will increase, and God will become more real to you.

Look at this verse... In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Now we may ask what is this doeth ighteousness... well since unrightouesness is sin then righteousness must be the opposite. And how rightoues is these people that God ays are His children. God says this about them... verse 7. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

My dear friend I can see you are as serious about God and His will as I am. And here is the GOOD news. God did not wake all these questions in you so He can avoid you, but He did so, because He loves you and He wants you to love Him back. And the ONLY love God agknowledge is the LOVE OF GOD HIMSELF. And that is our righteousnes... God's love He puts in our heart to LOVE HIM IN TRUE HOINESS... The Spirit of God comes with a heart that CAN ONLY LOVE GOD.

The love of God does this.... 1 John 2:5... But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

So you see how we KNOW we are in Him (Born of God) when we KEEP HIS WORD and HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN US. Wow!

And this is how we should know. Our hearts do not condemn us, we keep the Word of God, and the Love we have for ALL people, especially the brethren. Those that are ALSO keeping the Word.

Right through the Bible we see how God's Children are not sinners. Oh they all start off as sinners, but they do not stay sinners. God starts off with a sinner and He recreates them all to be Chrsitian made Saint made perfect man. And that is easy to proove with scripture, just about in every book of the Bible. God does not call the righteous but sinners to REPENT. And if they do God makes the sinner a repented sinner (Christian) And God leads them to the light (saint) and then God perfects the saint to be in unity of faith and edified to the Body of Chrsit ( unto a perfect man) to the measure and stature and fulness of Christ Himself. Now that is a salvation from God.

And this is the gift of the Holy Spirit.... And can we live Godly here on earth, well you decide after this two scriptures... I believe God achieve this IN CHRIST right here on earth...
2 Tim 3:12... Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Titus 2:12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Saved1975 are you Born of God? If you sin please do not say YES for then either you lie or God lies. And do you know what it means to RECEIVE Jesus? Let me qoute the Bible so I can show how you TWIST the Word...

John 1:12 and 13...But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Saved 1975 you say this...So you ask Jesus to come into your heart as your Lord and saviour,
Show us SCRIPTURE where any person did this PLEASE.... I know there is no evidence of this or even a suggestion of this nature... This is like we do the calling and the election/chosing.... God says you did not choose me I CHOSE YOU!.

This is false teaching my man, and lies. No man can ask Jesus to be his saviour, God MADE HIM saviour, and no man CHOOSE to be saved, GOD chose even before the earth was made. God says VERY clearly... For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

And the receiving Jesus is the CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON... PERFECT!

So a Christian can sin in soul and body, But thank God if we repent and confess our sins, God will forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, And put us back in right standing with God.

As for asking Jesus into you heart, If He isn't in your heart, You are not a Christian.
The Bible has a lot to say about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit being in our hearts, [In us]
Rom 5: 5. Rom 8: 9--10. 2 Cor 1: 22Gal 4: 6.Eph 3: 17.

Rom 8: 9 says if you don't have the Spirit of Christ in you, You don't belong to Him.

God never said He chose people for salvation, He chose a body, And that body consists of anyone and everyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and saviour, And get born again.

I don't know what religion you are, what kind of church do you go to??.

Saved1975 again you have NO idea what you talk about do you. Let me show you your error...how can 5000 men be of ONE SOUL if only their spirits were born again, and it is not the HUMAN spirit that is Born again it is the Spirit of Jesus IN YOU that is the NEW Spirit of God in you that is born again. If your spirit are born again then it will just sin again... And there will NEVER be ONE SPIRIT in 500 men then, but still 5000...

Look here.... Acts 4:31 and 32... And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Act 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul:

Same in Eph 4... There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Now the flesh.... can God actually make the FLESH NEW? .... This says God does.... Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And this says even the flesh is mae alive to obey only God.... But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

God will NEVER quiken (make alive) a mortal body to sin all over again, AFTER he sanctified it in Christ... NEVER!

If you have to ask what church I go to you even know less than i thought. Sorry my man but, if you teach tach with God's Word. Do not mumble things you no nothing of. If you make a statement prove it with Scripture AS I DO! A God commands you to do... God says we should accept the Whole Word of God for reproof, rebuke and forming of our doctrine.

How many churches does God have on earth? ONE! Who are the member s of this church? God's saints. I would LOVE to be one of those members, and maybe soon I will be. But God is the ONLY one that appoints His staff and members. So to be in that church is the ONLY way to heaven. It is ONE BODY... And only God adds to that Body, NO MAN CAN...

Second one, can you show me ONE person in the Bible that asked Jesus to be his or her saviour? Please provide Scripture. I know you cannot becasue there is not ONE person that asked Jesus into their hearts. God cannot put Jesus in a human heart. He CANNOT! Not even God puts Jesus in a human heart. (Stony heart) as the Bible refer to our hearts.

Jesus does not live in stony (human hearts) And i will proove it in Scripture. You however has NO idea what it means to have the Spirit of God in you. You heard these things and they formed part of your Gospel, but it is NOT the Gospel of the Bible.

So admit it, NO PERSON CAN OR HAS EVER asked Jesus into their hearts. NEVER!

Let me show you how the heart thing works... We do not OFFER God our hearts, HE TAKES IT... And HE replace it with a FLESHLY HEART, (A GODLY HEART) and he also gives us a NEW SPIRIT, not the PANELBEATED HUMAN SPIRIT... He gives us HIS HOLY SPIRIT... That is the NEW creation in Christ... NOt a half heartedly excuse of a sinner....

Read this and think a bit what happens when God does this.... A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Do you think if GOD CAUSES a man to walk in His statutes and keep His judgments, this man can sin? NEVER! That is BORN OF GOD, and I can proove it in the NEW TESTAMENT as well...

As for, "If any man be in Christ he is a new creature". It's the spirit of man that is a new creation, I have shown you that only the spirit of man is saved.

As for Rom 8: 11, If you read my post, You will see that I said the body is waiting it's complete redemption.
Quicken, in Rom 8: 11, Means to keep the body healthy and whole, To preserve it until it is fully redeemed.
Notice it says, "Mortal body", Mortal means subject to death, If the body was redeemed it wouldn't die.

You are putting your own thoughts to the scriptures, That's why I asked what church you go to.
As it's hard to believe you are a Christian, You have unscriptural beliefs.

The difference between you and I, is, I give scriptures and the Greek, whereas you twist the scriptures, As you have just proved.
So I ask again, What kind of church do you go to.

God will NEVER quiken (make alive) a mortal body to sin all over again, AFTER he sanctified it in Christ... NEVER!

Sanctification is not instantaneous, you need a little bible study

Justification (forgiveness is instant)
Sanctification is taught incorrectly as a instant

it is learning to walk the walk
no child plays carnegie hall after the first piano lesson

Even you loose your temper after you say you are sanctified.
You are not sanctified yet.

The new heart, Is the heart made alive to God, [The rebirth]
If your spirit left you, you would be dead, But it doesn't leave, It is made new, Made alive to God.

It doesn't look like you can prove anything from the Bible, You just put your own thoughts.
