Think about heavenly things;
seek BIBLE knowledge of God;

Meditate on Jesus’ YAHSHUA character;
be in love, in delight, in awesomeness, with his holiness!

If we find no joy in meditating of heavenly things;

if we have no desire in searching for the knowledge of God in the Bible,

no delight in meditating on the character of Christ;

if holiness (stop sinning-ness) has no attractions for us--

then we may be sure that our hope of heaven (where this is constant actificty) is vain.

Perfect conformity to the word of God
is the high aim to be constantly before the Christian.

(this is called sanctification)
The true christian will love to talk of God, of YAHSHUA JESUS,
of the home of bliss and purity (where no one breaks the commandments and sins anymore)

which YAHSHUA the christ has prepared for them that love him.

The thinkong about these themes, when the soul feasts upon the blessed assurances of God in the Bible,

the apostle represents as tasting "the powers of the world to come."

If you are right with God today,
you are ready if Christ should come today.

People who are not right today, need to go to JEsus to be born again in the spirit of obedience and truth.
This is a gift given to you
obedience to all the commandments is impossible by ourselves
we have tried it
but by prayer
it is a gift
this is the righteousness (right doing) of Jesus working in us as Paul says

Paul says I cannot do what I will
but I pray
and then Jesus keeps the commandments in our hearts.

Repentance and Contrition!
Point all dear souls to YAHSHUA Jesus,
who is our refuge,
a present help in every time of need.

He does not give us up because of our sins.

We may make mistakes and grieve his spirit;

but when we repent,
and come to him with contrite hearts,
he will not turn us away.

There are hurts to be removed.
Wrong feelings have been spoken,
and there has been pride, self-sufficiency, impatience, and murmurings.

All these separate us from God.

Sins must be confessed;

there must be a deeper work of grace in the heart.

Those who feel weak sad and discouraged may become strong men of God,
and do noble work for the master.

But they must work from a high standpoint;
they must be influenced by no selfish motives.

No work that can keep our attention is of greater importance
than a preparation for heavenly life.

We must watch unto prayer.
We must learn in the school of Christ.
Nothing but his righteousness can entitle us
to one of the blessings of the covenant of grace.

We have long desired and tried to obtain these blessings,
but have not received them,
because we have cherished the idea that we could do something
to make ourselves worthy of them.

We have not looked away from ourselves,
believing that Jesus is a living savior.

We must not think that our own grace and merits will save us;
the grace of Christ is our only hope of salvation.

Through his prophet the Lord promises,

"Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
and let him return unto the Lord,
and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God,
for he will abundantly pardon."

We must believe the plain promise,
and not accept feeling for faith.

It does not matter how you feel.
The word of God is true.

When we trust God fully,
when we rely upon the merits of Jesus
as a sin-pardoning savior,
we shall receive all the help that we can desire.

Our hearts have grown unfeeling and unimpressible through lack of faith.
We trust to self,
like we had power to save ourselves;

but YAHSHUA JESUS died for us
because we were helpless to do this.

In him is our hope,
our justification,
our righteousness.

We are to look and live.
We should not despond,
and fear that we have no savior,
or that he has no thoughts of mercy toward us.

At this very time he is doing his work in our behalf,
inviting us to come to him in our helplessness,
and be saved.

We dishonor him by our unbelief.
It is sad how shamefully we treat our very best friend,
how little confidence we give him who is able to save to the uttermost,

and who has given us every evidence of his great love.

Brothers and sisters
let us teach faith by Bible verse and example.

Happy Sabbath sanctification recreation salvation day of Jesus.

I believe we have finally found "common ground" here............

END QUOTE........

John 5:38) And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39 .) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 .) And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

When are going to learn. You are calling upon a name not written of in the Torah the Writings or the Prophets. When are you going to learn you are to look to Yehovah to be saved.

Stop following your pagan ways.

For I am Yehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel, your savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Kush and Seba instead of you.

I, I myself, am Yehovah; and beside me there is no savior.

Declare, and bring them near; yes, let them take counsel together; Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Did not I Yehovah? And there is no other God beside me; a just God and a savior; there is none beside me.
Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no one else.

Jesus Christ is foreshadowed right throughout the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible. Christ even interacts with God's people on special occasions in a pre-incarnate form. There's no hiding it - Jesus is in the Hebrew Bible. He was there before the beginning of all things and he'll be there forever more. Please understand that this site is called Christian Chat, not Jewish Chat or something similar. Also, calling us pagans is silly, unhelpful and not true.

Why was Jesus called Christ?
▪ The Gospel accounts relate that when the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to announce that she would become pregnant, he told her that she should name her son Jesus. (Luke 1:31) This was a fairly common name among the Jews in Bible times. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote of 12 people, other than those mentioned in the Scriptures, who bore that name. Mary’s son was called “the Nazarene,” which served to identify him as the Jesus who came from Nazareth. (Mark 10:47) He also came to be known as “the Christ,” or Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:16) What does this mean?
The English word “Christ” comes from the Greek Khri·stos′, the equivalent of the Hebrew Ma·shi′ach (Messiah). Both words literally mean “Anointed One.” This term was properly applied to others before Jesus. For example, Moses, Aaron, and King David were all said to be anointed, meaning that they were appointed to God-given positions of responsibility and authority. (Leviticus 4:3; 8:12; 2 Samuel 22:51; Hebrews 11:24-26) Jesus, the foretold Messiah, was the preeminent representative of Yahweh. Hence, Jesus appropriately received the designation “Christ, the Son of the living God.”—Matthew 16:16; Daniel 9:25.
