the Bible says

Jesus is saveior and he saves EVERYONE who comes to him and abides in him and falls in love with him

I was impressed to give an example

Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

that is sanctification
it does not come by saying a sentance "I believe Jesus is come in the flesh"

that sentance is nice but it doesnt sanctify
sanctification is NECESSARY and it is work

Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

You have to STOP STEALING
you have to repent
you have to ask forgiveness
you have to go to the people you hurt
you have to make reparations like Zacheus
THEN Jesus says
salvation has come to this house.

without sanctification no man will see God.

Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

so he labors for twenty years
and then gets tired, weary of doing right

Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

also

2 Th 3:13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

keep it up! Dont give up!

2 Th 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey commandment breaking, indignation and wrath,

In ROMANS even!
the book they use to "prove" the ten commandments were done away!
they were not
circumcision was done away.

here is something that may surprise you about obedience

"Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." -Acts 5:29.

"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." -Acts 5:32.

not given to those that disobey the ten commandments.

"But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath," -Romans 2:8.

"Let not sin (commandment breaking) therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof." -Romans 6:12.

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin (commandment breaking) unto death, or of obedience (to the commandments) unto righteousness?" -Romans 6:16.

"O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?" -Galatians 3:1.

"Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?" -Galatians 5:7.

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right." -Ephesians 6:1.

"Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord." -Colossians 3:20.

"Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:" -Colossians 3:22.

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" -2 Thessalonians 1:8.

"And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed." -2 Thessalonians 3:14.

"And being made perfect,
he became the author of
eternal salvation
unto all them that
obey
him
;" -Hebrews 5:9.

"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" -1 Peter 4:17.

"By whom we have received grace and apostleship,
for obedience to the faith among all nations,
for his name:" -Romans 1:5.
TEACH OBEDIENCE TO THE BIBLE (faith) in the whole world!

"But now is made manifest,
and by the scriptures of the prophets,
according to the commandment
of the everlasting God,
made known to all nations
for the obedience of faith:"
-Romans 16:26.

"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" -2 Corinthians 10:5.

"And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." -2 Corinthians 10:6.

"Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee,
knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say." -Philemon 1:21.

"Though he were a Son,
yet learned he obedience (SANCTIFICATION!)
by the things which he suffered;"
-Hebrews 5:8.
Jesus had to be sanctified alwo.
He was a child and a boy he had to learn sanctification like we did...

"Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father,
through sanctification of the Spirit,
unto obedience
and sprinkling
of the blood of Jesus Christ
:
Grace unto you, and peace,
be multiplied." -1 Peter 1:2.

The TRUE gospel is the Blood of Jesus Christ

AND

Obedience!

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints:
here are they
that keep the commandments of God,
and
the faith of Jesus.
what more can you say?
do YOU believe?

all you have to do is believe and you are saved

believe the Bible and you are saved

believe those verses above from the Bible and you are saved

believe you have to keep the commandments
do you believe?
or are you an unbeliever? An undoer?

JESUS SAID:

Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them,
My mother and my brethren are these
which hear the word of God,
and do it.

Commandment of Jesus Christ

Work not for the things of this world...

John, Chapter 6, 27:
Labour not for the meat which perisheth,
but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life,
which the Son of man shall give unto you:
for him hath God the Father sealed.

The law of Christ is to obey all His commandments.
Agreed. . .and he states clearly in Mt 22:37-40 what they are, and what they encompass and fulfill (accomplish).

Do you not believe Mt 22:37-40?

If you love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength and you love your neighbor as you love yourself, then the other commandments will be followed.

Honoring our parents is loving them, even if they are not great parents.
You can't (won't) steal from someone you love.
You wouldn't commit adultery (many say they love someone but still do it. That is not love)
You wouldn't commit murder (nor think badly of another, which is murder in the heart)

I think all of these are to teach us what real love is. As I said above, many people commit adultery but say they love their spouse. That is not love. Love is putting another person's needs, wants, desire, ahead of your own. Caring more for their happiness than your own. If we love our neighbors (which is all mankind) then we care about all mankind's needs and desires and do what we can in our own little corner of the world to get that ball rolling.

The purpose and point of this thread
is to discuss and to learn and to teach
the commandments of Jesus Christ
to those who want to read and participate.
I will go through the new testament and
take them one by one.

We will start with this.

John, Chapter 14, 15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John, Chapter 14, 21: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John, Chapter 15, 10: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
He does not say anything new.

Deut 5:9-10....I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Deut 6:5-9 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Deut 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

Deut 10:12-13 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

Deut 11:1 Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

Deut 11:13-15 So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—tolove the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul— then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.

Deut 11:22-23 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him— then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.

Deut 13:1-4 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
Deut 19:9....because you carefully follow all these laws I command you today—to love the Lord your God and to walk always in obedience to him....

Deut 30:6 The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Deut 30:15-16 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

Deut 30:19-20 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

It's only recently that man puts a new twist to His words.

I can tell you why I said to you that you do not keep all the commandments of Jesus Christ.

So you tell me why you said that I do not believe that Jesus said in Mt 22:37-40

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Please explain your understanding how the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

This I want to read.
