I figured I'd better post here now, because I'm already starting to feel comfortable around here. I might not feel like a newbie to much longer. I've never been very active in any sort of online social network before. I never intended to be, until I stumbled across this place. The combination of being both Christian oriented and open minded is rare indeed.

One thing that I have found that helps me when going into a new environment is to focus on serving rather than being served. You will last a lot longer that way. Know that someone is bound to say something that hurts you sooner or later. Satan is real and this is how spiritual warfare works.

Introduce myself? I'm odd.(in a good way) God makes some of us more-so than others. I accepted this and decided not to even try to conform to the standards of the world a long time ago. The body of Christ can't be all fingers. Someone needs to be a big toe. It's actually kind of fun being a big toe when you know you are in the center of His will for what He wants for you to be. I believe that my "singleness" is a part of that. Don't get me wrong, I desire the fellowship of both sisters and brothers in Christ. I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming days, weeks, and years if the Lord tarries. (and even more so if He doesn't)

Brother oyster67 First welcome! We are as you know called to endure ( heb 10:36) For one has to preform this action to even understand what the will of God is for us! The promise is this. If one becomes willing to endure,then we also learn how to endure each other in love, and grace and compassion,some days are better then others for us in this,but as Jesus in Paul said we move forward! ( phil 3:12-14) Again welcome,we are thankful to have another part of the body of Christ with us for sure. amen.
