It is. It borders France, Belgium and Germany (all of which in the 20th century at various times wanted to gobble it up and keep it for themselves).

Sarah: I once saw a movie set in Santa Fe starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and there were some curious shots of Arnie in front of the big church in Santa Fe.

Just a bit surreal...

Blessings.

The two biggest churches in Santa Fe are the St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral and St. John the Baptist Church.

Sarah, Not sure which one it was, but it looked kind of Spanish/colonial.

Blessings.

This is very good information for me. I need to get back into studying English.
Sarah: Learning foreign languages is very enriching. If you get yourself for example a Swedish New Testament, and you read e,g, John chapter one, over and over, the language of the passage is clear and simple in any case and you would be likely to absorb a lot of it in Swedish in a fairly straightforward way: 'Paa begynnelsen var Ordet...' (John 1.1).

Blessings.

I would like to visit Alaska, here in the US. Is it ever warm in Antarctica? If so, I'd like to visit there.

I have visited France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Singapore.
The lifestyle, history and people of Singapore was the most wonderful.
But the places I pull up most in wonderful memory, the most wonderful places are those I visited on backpack trips in the Pacific Northwest.
I am too elderly and decrepit to even want to go again, but those memories always bless me.

Sounds indeed like you have many good memories, Ms RedTent. Luxembourg, next to Belgium, is also well worth visiting.

My wife and I were recently in Montana, which was outstanding.
