We had an amazing gathering tonight and hopefully it continues on tomorrow. Have a wonderful Sabbath!
For my brothers and sisters who may be just starting out the Sabbath, and for all of you who are preparing for it, may you all be blessed in your day of rest, and your day of worshiping Him and serving Him and His people.

The Sabbath is Friday. Hence the expression TGIF.
Obviously you are one of the elect since you are a baseball fan, like God. I mean, why else would He start the Bible with "In the big inning."
I like the Royals. I like anybody who can beat the Evil Empire (Yankees). In the National League, go Pirates! Pittsburgh is God's team. Most of the players are Christians and are not afraid to say so.

Beeswax candles have always made me think of the light of the Lord lighting the way for us. So I searched for what is done when candles are lit on Sabbath eve. Here is what I found, and they stay lit on my table on Sabbath.
With the first candle: “ On the seventh day God completed His work He had done, and He rested on the seventh day.And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.”
With the second candle: “Father, continue Your loving kindness to me and my family and grant us and all Israel a good and long life. Remember us with favor and blessing and consider us with salvation and compassion, bless us with great blessing, complete our families and cause Your Glory to dwell among us.Keep far from us all manner of shame, grief, and care; and grant that peace, light, and joy abide in our home forever.For You, Yeshua, are our light. Amen.”
If someone shares Friday night meal with me who is unfamiliar with "Yeshua" I use names they are more familiar with like Christ or Jesus.
I know that thousands and thousands of people who love the Lord are sharing this same prayer with me at their sundown all over the world.

Happy OT day, hope y'all are blessed. Going to church in the morning. I also hope that y'all would plce you faith in the work of the cross and not a day. But, be that as it may.
Kerry, part of what Jesus did was to teach us to follow Him. His work on the cross is far reaching and vast and one segment is leading us to the day His Father and He blessed. Honoring this day is part of our complete faith in the cross.

It's such a blessing to hear of people celebrating the Sabbath. Everyone gave such Sabbath blessings except for a few who choose to be a spot on our love feast.
Jude 1:11-13 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Funny, I feel the very same way................and I'll really feel that way tomorrow when I gather with my church family to worship and praise God............
