"Why do I do the things I do not want to do, and don't do the things I should or want to do" To DO or NOT to DO, that is the question....

Parents get to play Detective a lot...there are all sorts of mysterious goings-on when you have kids. For instance...

WHERE did my son's shoes go? They were RIGHT HERE two minutes ago.
HOW did my daughter get that owie on her forehead without me noticing?
WHY do kids put granola bar pieces up their nose?

And the biggest mystery of the week...
WHO POOPED ON THE FLOOR, and HOW?! I was right here with both kids the whole day. Neither of them took off their diapers. Both diapers were on correctly. I just...I don't...can't even...

I got a little story about a kid pooping on the floor.

I was going to see my cousin and his family for short visit, but I got hooked into babysitting their kid. Young married couple, you know? Anyway, I was watching the girl, and things seemed fine and quiet at first. I drew my eyes down to my phone for a few seconds to check out facebook, but then all of a sudden, the moment I turn my head up to check the girl, I see a diaper flying across the room. Sure enough the girl took it off and threw it. I was thinking What the- But my thoughts were interrupted as I see the girl leaning on the bed pushing and dropping these round pebble like objects. Needless to say I jumped up to get some baby wipes, but I couldn't find it through all that clutter in the room. While I was doing that, the girl was moving around leaving a trail of poop behind. I immediately raced to the bathroom (it was a small house) to get a roll of tissue paper, and watered down a handful of it. I picked up some of the pebbles, I found a diaper, then the door opened. I see the father, then I frantically told him "This is just happening!!!" He checked on the girl, as I told him that her poo was hard. Poor kid must have been constipated. He goes and tells me that their daughter developed a bad habit of taking off her diaper and that she hasn't went for a while. I told my cousin the story of a diaper flying, poop falling, diaperless kid, lost baby wipes, tissue running, and poop picking, up to the point where he entered the room. The mother soon came in through the door to see me and the father picking up poop and putting a new diaper on the girl. She only laughed and asked what happened. Well, the dad told mom what I told him. She only laughed harder.

Three room tent. The rules?
1. No bees allowed (my son's idea)
2. No passing gas (my rule)
3. BYO flashlight(my niece's demand)

I had a dream lastnight that someone invented a cuddle machine and I was buying one and couldn't wait until it arrived. I woke up sad and uncuddled.

I had my interviews this morning.

Kind of a rough start, because at 9 AM as I was putting my makeup on, I got a call from the HR rep asking if I was having issues with my connection or what was going on. I thought it didn’t start until 9:30 but it was actually 9!! So I had to whip the rest of my makeup on, run and get my laptop, my hair was still wet…ugh. They seemed understanding though, didn’t seem like it put them off too much. The interviews themselves went okay, they seemed to like me and said I had good answers for my examples. It was a pretty in-depth interview, asking specific situational events I’ve encountered. Lasted about 2 hours. They will make a decision next Monday or Tuesday or so, so I will know then.

The rest of this week I am on vacation to go to Missouri for a family reunion. Some family that’s coming I haven’t seen in years. I’m excited!

OK, this reminds me of a dream my daughter had:

I apparrantly died. My daughters
wanted to continue to take care of the cats, but their mother did not want cats around and said no, even though the cats were the only thing to remember me by. I reappeared, because I had evidently faked my death, explaining that "all the cool musicians are doing it."

OK...analyze. GO!

Things going through my crazy mind tonight...

I'm annoyed that I feel lonely. It's nothing new, as of late, but it's bugging me because I Like being alone. I don't want to give my time and energy to anybody. I don't want to share my space with them. I don't want anyone asking anything of me. So why do I crave company? It's not fair to want someone to just be around, when I have no desire to give back in any way. Right now, I don't have anything TO give. I think sometimes I just get tired of the silence.

I talked to my one girl friend who isn't really a friend, and she actually sort of listened to me tonight. I tried to explain the lonely feeling, and her advice? "So be with somebody. You need a boyfriend."

Riiiight...a couple of things about that...

1. No.

2. I can't even imagine feeling anything for anyone beyond just appreciating that they may be attractive, or witty, or whatever other quality it may be.

3. No.

4. I've been scary-crazy far too often in front of evvvverybody in my life, both in person and online, for anyone to even approach me that way (except that one guy on the swings...but he doesn't count because he hasn't seen me fall apart every other day). I'm surrounded by orange cones right now, holding a sign that says Hazard Zone. It's kind of neat.

5. No.

I hate that any of this is even on my mind currently. Of course it's not always there, but the very idea of any future romantic anything makes my head spin and I start freaking out a little.

I tried to explain that to my friend. I think it came out as gibberish, because she just said she had to go and hung up.

Maybe it's just this vast, unknown future stretching out before me that's got me all sick to my stomach. Maybe I inhaled a moth or something. I need to install an off switch for my mind. It's way too hot in here. It would help if my mom would stop trying to comfort me by saying that after my divorce is final, I'll meet a nice man and get married again. That's not comforting, it's terrifying.
Just hang in there you will know when you know and Mom seems accepting now praise God, and maybe not ever get married again, i myself thought the same and was lonely the same and got married again, two mistakes as for married, not for learning from, been on third for over 30 years now and God never stopped loving anyone, and I am thankful for that
Just remember the fire when in one stop duck turn and roll out safely, And if anyone can't be with you as you are no hiding, then they do not deserve you. I mean one is to get married aren't both sides to accept the other just the way they are, and if one wants to change to something else is that not on the one, not the other.
Conflicts come from one wanting the other to change and freedom is gone. That is why we as people do not stay if we value freedom. By freedom is when one does it right if stays free after mistakes it is up to the one that made the mistake to see not for the other one to condemn. for if one already feels bad for a mistake condemning does not help, only makes it worse, and yes we all make mistakes so how do we learn from them?
By quit trying to prove our selves so that I bet we would improve from every mistake

Ohhh no,no Cristen..it's ok,I'm not feeling like you flipped out at me here or anything of the sort. I was just reading what you'd posted & I didn't even think of it in that way, like "Duh..everyone knows yer' still married!" LOL..I guess it was just odd to see all your points in a row like that & then in my head I was thinking the obvious one of all...'cause like that's pretty much the crux of why we are not together...I mean not "all" of it,but yeah..ok..I'm rambling. I shouldn't have said anything. I didn't mean it to come across mean sounding or like in your face. I should really just shut up for like ever. :p I'm sorry yer' having a craptastic night btw. :(
Thus Brother here comes the saying for us all

I know what I said, does anyone hear thator are we hearing somethinbg else and we make mistakes, or is not us that make them rather what we hear in it, what is said, and then there it goes off line and ready to war for we all have triggers and only god can tame them, not you not cristen, not anyone
Hope this helps
I know what I said I do not know what you hear

I had a small, painful spot on my foot where there was a slightly infected area. Thankfully I found out it was just a splinter and it's healed up now. :)

Last night I had a massive asthma attack. It took me by shock since my asthma has been quite subdued for the past few years and I very rarely need to use medication. Well, in my state if shock, it took me a little longer than usual to find my inhaler, with each passing minute getting more stressful as my airways tightened. I finally found it buried in my purse, but was dismayed to find that there was maybe half of a decent puff left in it. I desperately tried to extract every last bit of albuterol out of that thing before giving up. It worked, but it took much longer to take effect. My guess is that the dose I took wasn't that potent.

Guess who's calling her doctor and getting refills on her inhalers today?
Glad you made it through, seeing you have some more tasks to accomplish and if you are going at the rate I am you'll live forever

What one says and means in what they say, is that always heard the way meant to them or the lot?

I know what I said what I do not know is if you hear what I said? misinterpretations happen to us all
Clear now, I pray
