Passover

(Exo 12:21 KJV) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

(Exo 12:22 KJV) And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

Clearly since the had to mark their homes they lived in identical homes

The Lord I know would not condone the killing of anything, sense He created it all. The term "hate" or "kill" is not in the Lord's vocabulary

(Exo 12:23 KJV) For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

(Exo 12:24 KJV) And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

Believe me, the Lord is no destroyer.,,. such crapolla

(Exo 12:25 KJV) And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

(Exo 12:26 KJV) And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

(Exo 12:27 KJV) That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

(Exo 12:28 KJV) And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

(Exo 12:29 KJV) And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt,.,.,.,.Not the Lord I know, He forbids killing and not a doer of (:)

(Exo 12:30 KJV) And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Do you believe the Lord would murder children..,. Yes/No-?

I await your answer

Being you know all about why and how the Hebrews were freed from slavery, and you even know how their houses were built, God should have put YOU in charge of freeing the Hebrews, and showing us how Christ would free us. I am sure you could have done a much better job of it???? Or not???? You surely don't trust the Lord.

When I wondered how the OT was explaining God, I went to people who knew Hebrew and the culture of those times and had studied, ones I could trust never to change the bible. You would be amazed at the depth of love our Father has for us and what He has done for us. We have a God whose one desire is for us to always live with Him and set up a world we could operate so we have only goodness and mercy. Most people don't want to learn how he set our world up, don't care much to follow that, but we can trust His love completely.

If you sin and keep on breaking the commanmwnts withour repentance

he will destroy

1 Cor 10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
1 Cor 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
1 Cor 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
1 Cor 10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
1 Cor 10:9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
1 Cor 10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1 Cor 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1 Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Gen 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

He destroyed 4 billion unrepentant sinners who were too smart for their own good and mocked Noah.
How many people died?
how many survived? 8

about 1 in a billion

that is 0.0000001 percent survived

God is no destroyer?

Gen 13:10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah,

Gen 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

Gen 19:23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
Gen 19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
Gen 19:25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
Gen 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
Gen 19:27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:

about a million people perished!

God is no destroyer?

Isa 37:36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

God is not a destyer of unrepentant sinners?

When everyone has taken the RFID mark of the beast
and has declared death penalty on Jews and sabbath keepers
and God sends his angels to protect them
thi is what happens to the BEASTS ARMY that is attacking Gods people who keep his word:

Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth,
and gathered the vine of the earth,
and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city Babylon,
and blood came out of the winepress,
even unto the horse bridles,
by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

a furlong is 1/8 mile

200 mile river of blood

God will destroy unrepentant sinners who declare war on his humble people...

Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.
Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
Rev 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

What God did was show us how Christ died for us. Christ paid for our sin with His blood. In eternal time, this was the way it was even then, but it was to happen in our time. Through sin that we do not take to the blood of Christ, without the forgiveness Christ can give because He paid for our sins, there is death. It was symbolized by the blood on the doorposts. Even the symbol of Christ gives life. We have only to put the blood of Christ on our doorposts and death passes over us, there is life in the blood.

(Gen 41:46 KJV) And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

(Gen 45:21 KJV) And the children of Israel did so: and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.

(Gen 47:1 KJV) Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father [ISRAEL] and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

(Gen 47:5 KJV) And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father [ISRAEL] and thy brethren are come unto thee:

(Gen 47:6 KJV) The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

(Gen 47:11 KJV) And Joseph placed his father [ISRAEL] and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

(Gen 47:14 KJV) And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

(Gen 47:15 KJV) And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
(Gen 47:16 KJV) And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

(Gen 47:17 KJV) And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

(Gen 47:20 KJV) And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's.

(Gen 47:22 KJV) Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

(Gen 47:27 KJV) And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

(Exo 1:7 KJV) And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them

(Gen 47:11 KJV) And Joseph placed his father [ISRAEL] and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

NOTE: The Israelites pack up everything and move to Egypt leaving everything behind and live in Egypt for 400+ years

If you don't believe that living a life separated from God by faith in sin instead of God just try some of the ways of sin as a way to live. You will see what slavery is like.

What God did was show us how Christ died for us. Christ paid for our sin with His blood. In eternal time, this was the way it was even then, but it was to happen in our time. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The passover was one of the shadows of what was to come. The schoolmaster who brings us to Christ and shows us what Christ does for us.

Was the blood on the lintel and on the doorposts the actual blood of Christ? No. It was practice in the flesh for what was to come in Spirit and in Truth.

Good Post...
