No there is only one true church. All the Christian around the world who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and follow His teachings.
Not the Catholic, Baptist, Non-denominational, Evangelist, Pentecostal, Jehovah witness, or any other denomination that is out there that we say we belong to.
The church is the Christians ( body of believers all over the world ).
There was NO reformation in the east. the Lutherans tried to have a dialogue with the Patriarch however the Orthodox knew that is was not part of the Faith.
Protestantism is a parasite that leaches off of Papism. Which is why that protesantism could not get into Orthodox lands however when Jesuits would force-convert or trick Orthodox people into RC Protestantism would break out not too far after.
Well last time I check there is only one Truth in the world there are not multiple versions of the Truth there is only Truth and therefore only ONE GOD and ONE CHURCH, which is the Body of Christ.
According to the little independant Baptist church in my neighborhood they are the only True Christian Church. And I mean that particular church, not their denomination. So if you think your church is the only True Christian Church then you need to get in line.
It is true other think they are the true church however history will tell you which ones are lying.

I get many of my 'thoughts' from the Bible. Sometimes from 'websites'. I often 'post' from them. Then again the 'truth' from my own thoughts or 'random websites' sometimes hurts. Your 'post' is on a 'website'. Can anyone 'post' it elsewhere on the web? Are your words your own thoughts or from some website? Is the information posted by loveschild correct or not? That should be the question.

what would God think and say if he read this thread? oh I do not think he would be encouraging us to dig deeper into the false the failing and the fractures men leave in the wake of a life spent in search of a God. who is in you and not outside your scope of understanding. It is a Shame men had to use it for political power struggles. We must be carful we do not do the same. What does the Bible say set your mind upon these things, that are Good, kind, just , pure......think and mediate on these things look for and spend time with those that exhibit behavior that is ------ come on we all know the answers why do we waste time in the gutter of behavior that regardless of how long ago it was it matters not the actions and the intent were wrong. Not to say some goodness and great things did not happen in those time for they did..... Call it, move on. Lets discuss the love of the light not fight among our selves.

there was an attempt at reformation in the east...patriarch cyril lucaris was sympathetic with the calvinist reformers and sent several students under his supervision to study under calvinists in europe...
unfortunately dositheos and his followers led the way in stamping out lucaris' legacy...and destroying any chance of the eastern churches ever being 'orthodox' again...

Patriarch Cyril was not a calvanist. That letter was proven to be a forgery and Calvinism, along with all forms of Protestantism, did not gain any foot hold in eastern lands until Rome had gotten the foothold first.
And if the reformation brought truth again to he world. Please tell me: What form of Protestatism is true.

Protestants usually say we are the CLOSEST to original Christianity, but since theywould rather find a church THEY agree with, they never want to conform to an absolute truth, because they are themselves masters of it.
Then please tell me what is the truth then. If it is only "Christ is Lord" then anyone who believes this is in the Church and saved. That would include Roman Catholics Orthodox Monophysites Nestorians and most protestants.
There is only One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church - The Eastern Orthodox Church. The rest is religion(s).
The Truth finds its best expression (not monopoly) in the Eastern Orthodox Church, not in the western masochistic ('christian') religions.
Christianity in West has fallen into religion (because it ripped itself from the Church):

I agree but why do you refer to the Church as 'eastern' ORthodox? I am a Western ORthodox Christian of the Sarum Rite. The ORthodox Catholic Church IS the Church of East AND West. I just have to make that clarification, but I agree.

When I say eastern I do not mean only geographically, but especially as way of thinking: eastern way of thinking and understanding (in spirit and truth) different from the western scholastic and dry understanding (in letter, which kills the spirit).

Yes in that sense. But it is also the Original Western thinking as well. St. Gregory the Great, St. Ambrose f Milan, St. Leo the Great, St. Isidore of Seville, St. Augustine of Canturbury, and even St. Augustine of Hippo. I understand what you are saying especially since the Truth was kept only in the eastern lands due to the fall of the pope of Rome into heresy.

the calvinist writings of cyril lucaris were never proven to be forgeries...what actually happened is that the writings were summarily dismissed by dositheos and his followers without evidence...at a council whose goal was not to determine the truth but only to support dositheos' unsubstantiated rejection of the gospel of salvation by grace through faith...
in response to your last question...nearly all forms of protestantism hold to the truth christian faith...
