No It doesnt matter which bible you use. The same message is conveyed in the majority of them, just slightly different wording and/or use or non-use of Gods name. Without question, the King James is a beautiful version of the holy scriptures. And we do well to appreciate that Gods name Jehovah appears in the King James Version four times: Exodus 6:3; Psalms 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; and Isaiah 26:4. I prefer to use a bible that contains gods name as it helps me feel closer to God as friend, not just my creator.The most important thing though is to read the bible and discover its message for us.
"Act like they know Hebrew and Greek". Does this mean that those men who learn Hebrew and Greek should not even try, it is only "acting like".
And who told you that be "good vine" and "bad vine" it can be translated to say it has to do with translations of the bible? That is poor translation of those words.

There is a difference between having a basic understanding/appreciation for those languages and knowing more than translators. This topic and others here show time and time again why people who wish to speak seriously about scripture need to have some understanding of the languages. Even basic principles about how language or those languages would help a lot of people. You would not end up with people making silly statements like "perfect translation" or "word for word translation".

if you want to understand the king james quickly and easliy
just buy a 4 in one version parallel bible and read through it the whole bible
mark the verses where king james disagrees with other versions
that is a hot spot, usually a coverup
then go look at the greek words and the coverup is exposed
very easy to do.

my best bible for clear understanding (though it is still confusing in some verses, but they all have weaknesses)
is the Contemporary Englich Version
it is nice and the new living bible is a close second.
THE MESSAGE BIBLE is really wild, almost like John the baptist would talk
kind of fun but the slang sometimes doesnt fit right. the ideas are very good
1 corinthians in the message bible is AWESOME
I think it is a great bible for kids and gang members who are really really without any social skills at all and they might "get it"
so if you have a wild child that tattoos their eyebrows and has purple hair and has thirty piercings, the message bible might get through to them with a LOT of constant prayer, with a lot of prayer.

The KJV is not 'God's preserved Word' - it's a translation of what God has revealed to us.
False. There are many different manuscripts out there from different regions and eras and the KJV and modern translations rely on both. The difference is that the KJV tended to rely more heavily on the newer Byzantine texts while modern translations tend to favor the older non-Byzantine texts.

Can I show you what Greek and Hebrew do for people? This proves that even those who seem to be the experts in the dead languages actually don't understand the languages. Only God is capable of translating his word. Remember, the guys who did this are experts in the languages.

I have often wondered and considered If the true word of God is presented in Hebrew and Greek. Then why doesn't He give us understanding of the Hebrew and Greek. I meant if it was that important then all believers should now these languages. Instead He gave us the KJV which is close enough that God is satisfied with it.

He told Eve a corrupted version of it. The devil was subtle in his deception on twisting God's Word. Nothing has changed. There is nothing new under the sun. The devil is still up to his old trick in Genesis 3 and people just don't want to see it.
In 157AD apprx. There existed the Latin Static Bible. This also went by the name of "Vulgate", which means "Common Bible."
This Bible existed long before the Roman Catholic religion had created the Vaticanus or their version of the Latin Vulgate.
