A friend who is about to go to china asked me what do I want to have? I told her everything here is made from China. What can u bring me that I cant buy here?
In the Philippines almost everything is made in China from a simple toy..to a fine set of dinnerware to an electronic gadget. I bought a gadget that says its made in korea but its battery is made from shenzen, China.
We have Chinatown, different Chinese Resto and a lot more of China.
I think in every country they have something that is made in China.
How about you? What do u own that is made from China?

Solid bicycle tires. They replace tire and tube; ultralight; stretch on and no more flats. These are one-piece, made in America, modelled on the bullet proof tires sold to the FBI, etc. But until recently, they were only sold in China, so the American bicylce magazines said at the time. If you try to buy them here, you must deal with a Florida firm that steals your money and vanishes, and the Better Business Bureau and the Florida attorney general cannot/will not do anything (this is all on Internet, I'm not exaggerating, or making it up, and I have the receipts to prove it). That is what I wish I could buy, made in America, apparently sold only in China.

Chinese goods are everywhere in the house. Which was probably why somebody came up with an SMS joke which became an overnight blockbuster (as it connects with the reality to a large extent) joke here in India. It goes like this, " God made Adam and Eve and everything else was made in China".

I have a lot of picture frame moulding that has been collecting dust in my garage, mostly made in Mexico. Anyway, now that the weather is better, and the garage is no longer freezing cold, I decided that I want to make a bunch of frames and do some abstract acrylic paintings to go inside them, then sell them.

Yesterday, I went to the local art supply store to price out stretched canvas and acrylic paint. I've dabbled in painting before, but I've never sold anything. So last night I went on eBay to see what acrylic paintings were selling for. I've worked in a number of galleries doing custom framing, so I have some idea of retail pricing on some artwork, "real artwork", so-called. :)

Anyway, about a week ago, I had seen some artwork on eBay by an artist by the name of Leonid Afremov. I believe that's what his name was. I thought about buying some of his pieces and framing them up to sell, but I found a lot of comments suggesting his work wasn't as good as the pictures that were shown online. Many suggested that what they received were poor imitations of the artist's work. So I passed.

Now, let me get back to yesterday. I went back to eBay to research pricing for abstract acrylic or oil paintings. I was surprised to find so many amazing looking paintings in some relatively large sizes selling for $20 to $50. And you guessed it, they were coming from China. Many of them had free shipping.

As I thought about the whole matter, I recalled having purchased a 30" x 40" oil painting of a Mediterranean seascape about 10 years ago for $50 and free shipping. It had also come from China and the quality was excellent. I just pray there were no harmful chemicals in the paint. Who knows what is being used?

Well, I see no point in wasting time and money painting something of my own when I can get great looking pieces for less than it would cost me in materials. I may as well just buy from China. And before anybody starts preaching about American loyalty, first get rid of everything you own made in China, and everything with Chinese made components. :)

I must say though, I would feel terribly frustrated if I were an artist trying to make a living off my artwork. Given the quality of the work and the pricing, I don't see how others can compete. My daughter loves art, but she's still young. I won't discourage her if she wants to pursue art as a career. But I'll be putting a lot of thought into a back-up plan.

Ceramic and coffee cups, frames for pictures... Spare parts, cars, busses, newbrand subways... The bad news are not ALL them are good. Plastic things fade away within less than 2 years and, wholeheartedly I WOULD RECOMMEND not to buy things made in China because of ITS BAD QUALITY, no matter the price. QQ is lost! many thing ar bought, like ligt bulbs, and last nothing.

As for an example, China is one of the countries who is taking everything here, in the "social communism of Venezuela. i wish we had the things made in europe (Germany or Norway) that the corruption of this Gov had China to make their big deals. :)

I have no Chinese Blessings yet; still waiting.
I was actually sent a set of chopsticks from a company because the item I originally requested was no longer sold and they weren't sure what to do to show they were sorry.

China undermined most of the world’s other sources of these strategic minerals by such practices as underpricing, putting them out of business. Once an industry leaves a country it becomes enormously difficult to start it up again. The supply chain is gone. The expertise is gone. The educators are gone – and so on. And, of course, with the industry goes the jobs and the ability for a country to make a living in the world. A huge investment is required to rebuild all of this.

Now China is the main source (90 percent) for many critical minerals used in electronics manufacturing. China is using that 90 percent advantage to force other industries to come to China. China has been using export controls and other restrictions to drive up the price of manufacturing outside of China. If you simply cannot make or obtain certain critical electronics products anywhere else you either get them from China or go out of business. And yes, that includes our military.

The House Republican leadership on Tuesday blocked a bill to secure for American companies critical minerals used in the production of energy-efficient products, renewable energy systems, electronics and other technologies. The result is companies – and the Defense Department – continue to be forced to turn to China to make or obtain critical electronics components.

Sad but true.

Using your logic, when the Muslims murdered 70 million Hindus: that was part of His plan. When they enslaved 150 million Africans and castrated 80% of the males from the 28 million they brought to the Middle East: that was part of His plan.

China's getting ready to enforce severe persecution on Christians in China. You see, In 2012, China's government launched a new three-phase campaign to wipe out unregistered house churches which they view as a hostile group of dissenters and force them to join the official Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) church system controlled by China's government and whose "theology" entails a great deal of actual heresy (despite incorporating the Nicene Creed) designed to get members to exalt the Chinese government over God.

In the first phase, from January 2012 to June 2012, the State Administration for Religious Affairs (SARA) sent out a large number of government spies and secretly investigated house churches across the country and created files on them.

This was followed by a wave of crackdowns, which is ongoing right now, as part of the second phase. The vast majority of Christians have resisted and refused to join the government's authorized "Christian" church.

Phase three is expected to begin from 2015 through to 2025 and the Chinese government intends to put Christians under their boot using government force much like Mao did in 1958.

Are you willing to admit that any wickedness on the face of the earth may not have God's blessing?

Myself, I don't attribute what the devil and immoral people do to God. I correctly correlate their behavior to them. You may want to study correlation at school as that will help you attributing to God what the devil and immoral people do in this world. Just some advice.

God's plan is to redeem those who are willing away from the devil and wicked people. Unfortunately, for us, He's not yet brought that plan to completion so we have to endure in the meanwhile.

'Cop out': To avoid or shirk, either by failing to perform, or by performing in a grossly insufficient, negligent, or superficial manner.

God's sovereignty does not justify evil nor negligence. There are responsibilities which are inherent to being a Christian. Negligence "because everything is part of God's plan" is not among them.

What people do, or don't do, matters both temporally and eternally.

God's plan accommodates all things but if you want them to change, then you have to work to change them. If this weren't true, for example, then there would be no need to even petition God through prayer.

We're in a war in case you hadn't noticed. Lesson 1: Understanding the Battle (e.g. The battle belongs to the Lord but you are the soldier!)

God controls everything in our world. Even when tragic events happen they are for a reason. A reason only God knows. I will pray for you.
