Can someone tell my brain it's bedtime? It's being stubborn and won't listen to me... Keeps running laps over and over again and I have work tomorrow...

Christian (sounds like I'm talking to myself, since that's also my name), don't they have toilets at your church? I'm glad you got out safely. :)
Haha, I know, right? I live 10 minutes from the church and felt I was able to hold it.
In all seriousness, it's supposed to be funny haha. Thanks.

As long as they're halfway toilet trained... aw heck, we'll settle for a quarter.

This thread is devoted to those random thoughts that have been mulling over in your mind as you go through your day. Maybe be deep thoughts, profound thoughts, funny thoughts, etc. any thoughts that you'd like to share with the rest of your fellow human beings that going through this crazy thing called life.

Disclaimer:

Ideally, I would like this to be a place to write down your thoughts, and 'like' posts. And not be a conversation thread
. But I realize, I can't prevent derails. People talk.

My thoughts gone wild lately and don't know what to share first.

Deep thoughts: Will I be ready when that time comes? My last breath, being with my signficant other?

Profound thoughts: Book of Revelation. Would like to have deep and profound thoughts on this book.

Funny thoughts: that tourist how he is feeding his dog, that secularhermit's reply on this thread. That how dcontoversal calling me amigo instead of amiga. :) that Aya2011 and the rest of my filipina online friends started posting threads. that my foreign online friends like blue_ladybug are busy establishing their lives and fighting their own struggle, but find times to crack jokes and tell funny things. And funny me, being confident in sharing threads that I'm not that expert in writing (take note of grammatical errors, lol) what i only knew is to share my heart/soul towards the matter being discussed.

Random thoughts: Is he thinking about me? Is she a true friend? Is my brother and sister really cared for me that much? Did God ever like me to live a life that is full of strife? Or am I only the one doing the cause of it?

Today thought: I'm hungry. It past 12:08am and not cooking for my lunch yet. Or should I eat tuna sandwich instead?

After thought: Can you read my mind?

My mind during the day today: hmmm... Ummm.... *yawn*

My mind as I'm trying to fall asleep right now: Hey remember to pay bills tomorrow, balance the checkbook. I should tell my roommate about having a work evening and fixing up the backyard. Hey I have ideas on things I could paint. I wonder how the states got their names, I'll have to look that up. I wish I could ride a dragon.

It's like during the day my mind can be like an old version of Internet Explorer and at night it's Chrome with 7 tabs open.

I see there's a thread in the Bible Discussion Forum that's directed at me. I don't know if I want to venture a look. But it's tempting - the title did include the name 'Noah'. ;)

Tuna Subway FTW!! W00t w00t!! ;)
I did both, I ate tuna sandwich and now cooking "Pinakbet". Filipino Vegetables Dish

Pinakbet recipe.jpg

2 medium-length eggplants, cubed
1 medium-length bitter melon (ampalaya), sliced
6 tender okra pods
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup of sliced onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup water from rinsing rice
3 tbsp fermented sauce (less if it's a salty bagoong)
1 tbsp pounded ginger
1 cup boiled sliced pork
2 tbsp cooking oil

At first I read the recipe and went like "Oh, it's a vegetarian dish. I think I'll pass." Then I saw "1 cup boiled sliced pork" and went ...

One in the morning when I should've slept two or three hours ago. I think I'm on the edge* of a panic attack. Why? I need to do something tomorrow... I can't be doing this all-nighter thing anymore. Better yet, I can't be making stupid decisions that made it come down to this point to begin with, and I'm not just saying about tonight.

Well, you won't be seeing negativity from me that much longer. I'm tired of it too.

A practical solution is to keep a notebook or pad of paper by the bed. When things come to mind write them down and then you will reassure yourself you won't forget and your brain can go off hyper vigilant mode.

I see there's a thread in the Bible Discussion Forum that's directed at me. I don't know if I want to venture a look. But it's tempting - the title did include the name 'Noah'. ;)
I think you should reply without reading it and just say: "Noah has left the boat never to return and rejoices that all the trolls were destroyed in the flood" or something like that.
