From a media perspective, this looks like another witch hunt.

Their obvious agenda, history of incitements to rioting and their need to sell sensation.

The facts could go anywhere. It may take weeks, maybe even a trial if this goes that way but history proves one thing, no matter what, to the media, the cop is a racist and Brown will be another thug hero.

I guess I should qualify that with liberal media but that should be an assumption

I can go into this whole psychological discussion regarding how historical events can affect a group of people, but fact of the matter is, you will never truly understand. Also, you can take my comment how you like, but truth is, it is what it is. When situations like this comes out, people true colors always show, on both side. Are there black racist? Yep, just like there are white, mexican, whoever. A poll doesn't negate the fact that racism towards blacks still exist. I just chose not to be naive to that fact.

@dcontroversal - I've seen the video countless times and don't excuse anyone's action. But while classifying someone as a gang banger, realize that there are jack booted thugs protected by badges. Whether you want to be naive to facts, there are reports of police abusing power. Also, while you are 60 miles away, you still have no clue what all happened, so location is irrelevant. But I was raised to pull the truth from facts, and no preconceived assumptions and emotions. So until everything comes to the light, I will continue to view this objectively. Lastly, I personally don't like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. I think we have more violence in our own communities to talk about; but one who understands that racism exist doesn't have to be of the same train of thought that those 2 men are. Dont' take this the wrong way, but that's usually what a while person say to someone who acknowledges that racism is still alive.

No one cheered the death of Trayvon Martin and no one is cheering the death of Michael Brown. Reviewing the facts of an incident and drawing logical conclusions from them is Biblical.

I have always stated and will state again that most so-called Christians are lukewarm and 'hypocrites.' What would a real Christian say pertaining to the incident.

I will say though. I've been watching the live feeds done by Vice News on Youtube. Seeing a Missouri State Trooper carrying what was probably an AR-15 while wearing military fatigues was scary. Our police should not be in military uniform. Swat uniforms? OK. Military Fatigues with Camo? NOPE!

Everything about this is sad!

It is sad that a young man died...whatever the circumstances were that led to his death. Even if the boy did punch the cop in the face...even if he tried to steal his gun, it is sad.

A person who is surrendering on the ground with his hands up shouldn't be shot to death.....Even if that didn't happen...he was excessively shot.

It is sad that excessive force was used (if it was) and it is sad a cop is being demonized if it wasn't.

It is sad that this is being turned into a race war

It is sad if race was a motivation (it could have been) because sometimes it is. I think part of the problem is some people don't take it seriously...because the race card is over used.

It is sooo sooo soooo terribly sad that the 12 year old child murders a nine year old, and it isn't covered because it doesn't fit the political agenda.

It is sad that infact as the bible predicted the hearts of man have turned cold...a tragedy happens...and it breeds hate. Hate against different races, hate against different political parties...even more sad that it is causing hatred in the hearts of some, who profess to be a christian.

Let us take a stand against hate, and share the love of Christ to a very lost, angry, confused, hurting world....

I hear a lot of you guys constantly bragging about how its good a thug like trayvon was killed and claiming he was a drug dealer and what not, all you guys do is make things up, or exaggerate them.
