God leaves it up to us to decide, He does not take our free will away.

Yes He does not want any of us to perish, we though are given that choice to accept the Holy Spirits guidance or not.
Yes He will send help as in other people to talk to, lift them up, edify them. Once again through free will they can choose to refuse that help and guidance from the Holy Spirit or another person in Christ.

If a believer has fallen away, he has already fell from their saved state. The only way to return to it is through repentance and asking forgiveness of that sin.

Once again I will mention the sower and the seed parable.
( The group that abide in Christ tell a trial or tribulation happens in their life that turns them away from Christ. )

If this could not happen then our Lord Jesus would not have mentioned it.

We can not say that some one who believes in the Lord, can not turn away from the Lord.
It happens, the bible says it happens.
If He is able to save before we perish and is not willing that any of His should perish but stands idly by wringing His hands sobbing 'freewill', 'freewill'...what kind of Love is that?
Perhaps, you should reconsider...

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Man's 'free' will is not king over God's free will.

I know that I am not perfect, and can do things that would upset my God.
Just as I would do things that would upset my parents.
Although because they love me, no matter what they are my blood, my family.
Will I be punished for the mistakes I have made? Yes. Do I need to be taught a lesson? Yes.
Sometimes it takes a life time to learn a valuable lesson, and the most perfect gift we have ever had is Jesus dying on the cross for us, to forever remind us of the never ending love that our God has for us.

That is LOVE

That is unbreakable.
We need to choose and accept that perfect love, and never forget it, and never betray Him.

Did I say He stands idly by....NO

He gives us the Holy Spirit to guide us, then He even sends other brothers and sisters in Christ to us to help us.

It is then up to you to accept and listen to the Holy Spirit, and/or the advice and help from your fellow Christians.

God does not force us to accept Him.

God gives us the help we need, through the free will He gave us we then chose to accept that help.

He would not have gave us the word through our Lord to go out and bring back the lost.

He works through us for His will to be done, and that applies to helping others to. Then He tells us if they hear what we have to say stay and talk with them more, if not dust your feet off and move on.
Why, because there are others that need correction, and brought back and to the Lord.

Gods will is that all men by His will will be saved?
Gods will is that all men should be saved?
I'm sure it's the latter and your last post kennethcadwell is for sure.
But the clincher is "for this we know in part".

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ Jesus.” II cor. 11:3
The simplicity in Christ is the daily companionship of the Lord Jesus. Do you sense that Christ is yours all day long? Do you think about that, and live out of that relationship? Do you expect Him to share the day with you? Christianity is a relationship, not information. That is the simplicity that is in Christ. The danger that we constantly face is that we get involved in the things about Christ and fail to live in a relationship with Christ.

I think that it is time to bring this discussion back to the OP.

I feel that too many of us are so eager to decide when a person is Saved, rather than what we have in our Salvation. The last statement in the OP "The danger that we constantly face is that we get involved in the things about Christ and fail to live in a relationship with Christ." sums up 2 Cor 11:3 quite well. It is that relationship that Satan attempts to destroy every chance that he gets. Paul's caution here is not to forget that Christ has already fought our battle and won. That is the simplicity that is in Christ when we are saved.

Don't you think Christians should never have a theological box? Isn't being a Christian giving up our fleshly minds and taking on the mind of Christ? That means we must be humbly open to scripture. I try to point out that some people close off a part of scripture, and I think all must be included and work together. I am told by some that means that scripture will put me in hell. They never speak of scripture, only of what of scripture they decide to cancel, saying scripture tells them to cancel another scripture. From these posts, I am sure the topic of the simplicity of Christ is to be told of only from a limited viewpoint, and anything that doesn't agree with a personal viewpoint is not acceptable. That is not a discussion, it is opening a window for what Christ said was murder. And it is scripture that gets murdered along with the person pointing out scripture.

The simplicity of CHRIST can only be worn by a believer, who have set his or her mind and their works to the hings of the HOLY SPIRIT. First, the sound doctrine knowledge of the New and Old Testament. Second, their called practices 'abiding in the present Covenant. Third, persevere tribulation and persecution, standing up for who you are in 'AGAPE'.

Simplicity of CHRIST?

Are you definitely sure?

In the Gospel JESUS says this;

"............................. The road that leads to the Kingdom of GOD is narrow and is 'very difficult to follow" and only 'a few' will make it."

The simplicity of CHRIST, all i know is 'to lay down one's life for the Gospel sake', the only 'spiritual desire' of a Christian which is one of the amour to their feet.

Sadly this confession of simplicity in CHRIST coming from one who is babes in CHRIST and belong to the OSAS group.
