House? Apartment? Condo? Parent's House? Renting a room in a rented house? Dorm? A van down by the river?
Where have you thought about living in the future? Is that dependant on relationships status?

I own a brick house on a double lot in a small town.

My dream is to live in a small cottage on the beach.

late 60's ranch style house on an acre inside the city limits, growing in value slightly faster than in equity, but doing well on both fronts...intending to (once the kids are older) trade to a post-war bungalow in a particular neighborhood...with much less yard to fight.
If I re-marry, I will follow a friend's example and we will buy a house that Neither of us lived in before, so as to allow us to both be starting from scratch, on equal footing.

I live in a guest house on someone's 200 acre Hobbie farm.

I actually love where I live! It's perfect for me and so beautiful. I'm going to have a hard time ever living somewhere else.

My dream home is a small country cottage with a lot of natural stone and a blue door with a stream running through the front yard, and a big red barn for the horses out back. Oh and lilacs... lilacs everywhere!

I live in a rented home with two other roommate and pay for my room. And we share the common space. I hope to move next year to a different part of the city. I am unsure when I'll get a place to myself. I wouldn't get a house if it's just me, condo maybe, apartment more likely but having a back yard is nice so renting in a house seems ideal.

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it weren't so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14:2)

It will be based on eternal life.

60's ranch style house on an acre sounds good! Post some pictures of the house, if you can. :)

I live with my parents in an apartment. In the 70's this used to be our cottage in a residential suburb. I grew up in the cottage until 2000. Later, my maternal grandpa demolished the cottage and built an apartment. So we now stay in the apartment.

My friend's uncle owns this huge property in Kerala. It has a dairy farm, turkeys, roosters, hens and ducks. It has palm trees and a vegetable garden. There is also a rubber plantation. It is a self-sustaining farm. The best location in the farm is the stream that runs on the southern border of the farm-house. We stayed for two days and one night in that farmhouse. We played in the stream, lazing in the water and collecting pebbles from the rock-bed. The uncle also built a tree house but we were too famished to explore the tree house. I would like to own such a place after I have retired. The best thing is he earns about USD 10,000 per month from selling the produce of the farm!!

I live in an apartment (up until two years ago it was various dorms shared with loud people....)

My dream for the future?
- Something large enough to room a family and small enough not to make all my salary go to paying taxes on it :p

I want a wooden house, plenty of well insulated windows to let in light and not cold, and a fireplace.... and plenty of bookcases filled with books.

I found a cool bookshelf, but I don't think it's long enough for me :p

I still live with my parents (paying rent) in a single-family home located in a simple but safe neighborhood, and will continue to do so until future husband and I get a place to ourselves.

In the future we're thinking of renting an apartment or condo that's small, but with enough space for me to teach piano lessons in it.
