Isaih 10 learn not the way of the heathen, for one cut a tree out of the first and fasten it with nails that it move not , they decorate it with silver and gold. Also if you study the roots of Christmas or easter , it comes from all pagan roots worshipping false gods.

A pagan idol to which men bow down
Tis not a Christmas tree,
which gifts are gathered round.

I like all the baked YUMMYS :)

I like cooking in sweltering heat for hours on end, watching my men folk consume it in a nano second., watching them wander off to watch tv until they go to sleep and then spending hours washing up and putting away left overs...!! Yayyyy.

Yeah! 'Bout time somebody exposed the evils of Christmas! Bah! Humbug! Put a sock in it, Tiny Tim, and just limp away!

Christmas: it's like having one foot in the lake of fire. I'm going to turn off all the lights, lest carolers come around. Get out a flashlight, read some Torah, give thanks to the Lord I'm not like other people.

when our only son was about 10, my husband began a tradition in our family.

at holidays when the girls and i cook a huge meal, the boys clean up. :)

now our SIL and future SIL have been grafted in to that tradition.
(though our SIL is a better cook than i, and does a bunch in the kitchen before dinner)

gotta love that guy i married. ♥

a-a-and, i already got my first Christmas decoration out! haha

i will celebrate the first Advent of our Lord Jesus with the rest of the Family,
and be thankful. ♥

Got diarrhea from them last year, I was so holy! (Spilled some pickle juice on my Torah, though, which tittled a jot, but I sat extra still and ate granola the next six Saturdays.)
