Did she prophesy about GOD's judgement against gay and lesbian practices and continuing and encouraging, even by so called 'lukewarm' Christian?
Without repentance to their disgusting practices and believe in CHRIST and of the New Covenant to practice for a change to Eternal Life, both as 'equally yoked', will only be accountable to GOD's wrath and judgement to come.
Sorry to say this to you who have posted this thing and want to join them, that you are in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST, messing with the 'Consuming Fire' of GOD, that can 'non existence' anyone who oppose HIM, who have humbled to make peace with 'sinners', who are continuing to test HIM time and time again as previous Israel.
The Old Covenant is a lesson to all believers of CHRIST, how HE dealt with HIS very own people of Israel as sinners.
Who do we think we Gentiles are 'who only ate the crumbs that fell from the children's table'?
Yet HE made us as adopted and co-heirs with the people of Israel in CHRIST. the 'New Jerusalem of Sarah', in Heaven.
What is going on in this world today is the 'Old Jerusalem of Hagar'. The one, Mother Sarah chased her away from the true inheritance of Abraham, that she will not get any part of it, ever.
You who posted this tread either you want to be against us or want to continue with us to see the true 'Light of this world' and repent while you can, or perish with the rest, by the wrath of GOD on this world first and yet unrepentance, then in the future judgement in hell, as one of the Eternal Home set for anti-CHRIST children of the New Testament/Covenant.

If you read what she said, you'll see she spoke rightly about her own inner demons being cause enough for her not to judge others. What she said wasn't 'I endorse being gay', more like 'I endorse taking the log out of my own eye, rather than looking for a speck in somebody else's'. It's a case of 'better yourself. Somebody else's betterment is their own business'. Here's the direct quote:

If you want somebody to judge, point the finger inwards.
Or you criticizing her, but judgement to condemnation is far different than gentle criticism. Your argument is called equivocation, and it's logically incorrect. The point Dolly Parton is making, as part of the Christian community, is that judgement begets judgement, so it's better not to met it out to others. It's a continuous cycle otherwise, neverending.
I dare say Dolly Parton's fairly gentle urging for others to look inward rather than outward for somebody to judge is much less vicious than the abuse she's receiving for saying it. She's not even criticizing Christians, but saying that to include all people and to judge nobody makes for an inclusive, non judgemental society. She never used the word Christian, she somewhat criticizes jugemental people. Judgemental and Christian are not synonymous.
She's absolutely right, however.

1st off, a non Christian trying to talk Christian and use what they don't believe against Christians is virtually worthless.
Secondly, the quote doesn't help your argument in the slightest. She is saying EXACTLY what the thread originator, and other Christians, have said. That she Accepts that homosexuals should love who they love. The "love" spoken here by her clearly means relationship and sex with members of the same sex. This sin must be condemned. We need to love the people but NOT accept their sinful behavior.

Yes, with all due respect to you, beloved and as a friend, i am speaking to you, for your own health and maturity in the Kingdom of GOD.
First of all, GOD do not want us to be 'busybodies' about what outsiders are doing or neither allow us to judge, as usually we tend to, in our conversation about them with each other. We already recognize the 'spirit of error' in other Christian and should be wise by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT, to do our own work well, which was called by GOD, for us to obey HIS 'Every Word'(who is CHRIST of the New Covenant) and do HIS will.
This is clearly the work of the 'spirit of anti-CHRIST' and deceived Miss Dolly Parton and the false victims and her ignorant supporters are in blindness and they cannot understand GOD and come to HIM and they would want to make HIS people look bad. This is partly the work of the 'self' enemy, that is carnality/flesh that war against GOD's HOLY SPIRIT. Christian who do not continue with the HOLY SPIRIT, but remain in carnality/flesh and to it's richest given by satan, tend to because of being satan's slave in disguise to deceive many. To tell you the truth satan is just the initiator, but who is the blinded and in ignorance?
Those who went their own way, away from their true Christian parent or from GOD of the HOLY BIBLE and HIS HOLY SPIRIT through CHRIST. For Biblical Christian this no surprise but an opportunity to preach the Gospel, as a sign of the end days for one to 'stay awake' and 'be allert'.

There is evidence here among believers and even me find ourselves in contention, due to having different kind of thoughts of the knowledge of the HOLY BIBLE, that is in between those who still respond in carnal/fleshly way of thinking and there are those who respond in Biblical SPIRIT/spirit way of thinking.

Where is the source material to prove Dolly Parton really did talk about Christians judging them sinners? Thing is too many people jump to conclusions and actually believe what they read in blogs, feeds and forums from strangers without checking the facts, then get all angry or whatever emotion is intended and rush to tell everyone about it on their own forum and news feeds, then of course it kind of grows viral and everyone then believes that the lies and made up statements are facts.
Wow! This is a shocker to me! I didn't realize that about Dolly Parton. In regards to her coming out in support of gays and lesbians and calling Christians who judge them "sinners". Isaiah 5:20 - Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Thank you for being kind in your response fredjames. But I have to correct you.I am not judging anyone.It is God who judges and he has judged homosexuality as wrong,period. Im not being a busybody I am speaking the truth.If someone commits a murder am I judging to say murder is wrong? No.I am simply stating the truth.So you are wrong in your assumption.
This forum is for discussing the Bible and issues pertaining to it.Some of them will cause strong opinions but thats what discussions are for.If this offends you,you should stay away from these hard discussions.
Lastly there is no other way to understand the Scripture.Homosexuality is wrong and a perversion and as Christians we should lovingly tell people it is wrong and they are in danger of hell.Thats what sharing the gospel is all about.Blessings back to you.
