No, you lift scripture out of context, if it were in context, it would not be in contradiction elsewhere in the books.
You some how equate the receiving of the HS to being baptized for the remission of sins, the 12 in acts 19 were not saved by laying on of Paul's hands, they were saved by being baptized by the baptism "authorized" by Jesus Acts 19:5, they were not baptized "by Jesus".
Acts 19:5 (NKJV) When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

I asked you where the baptism of the HS was with the 12 disciples in Acts 19, you give me two more examples of Apostles laying on of hands, so with those two, can you show me the HS baptism?, laying on of hands is not baptism, receiving the HS and baptized with the HS are two different things, unless you can show scriptural they are, if they are, then why didn't Peter just lay his hands on Cornelius?
Another way to word the question is, why did Peter "not" have to lay hands on Cornelius, if laying on of the Apostles hands is HS baptism?

This is just getting foolish now, if you receive it, get baptized with it, get it under water, get it in church, if the Holy Spirit slaps you on this forum, and you don't realize it till you see your old friends or old life, " and feel the change in your mind and heart ". Do you think it matters to me the difference of how you got it? It's great for a personal testimony, other then that why would it effect anyone any different, rather it be received or baptized, even though it's the same thing.
I am not surprised it is getting frustrating for you, it is because when you look at N.T. baptism, it only teaches three, two of which only Jesus can do (H.S. and fire) and one authorized by Jesus for the disciples to do Matt 28:19, the only one that saves, the one baptism of Eph. 4:5 (water) and why Peter told the house of Cornelius to be baptized by water in Acts 10:47-48
I'm not getting frustrated, I'm tired of going over and over, the same subject, nothing I say will change your mind, " it's a vain topic ", for you... So only Jesus can do what He did right? Are you telling me He isn't alive, Jesus never left these powers with the Apostles who wrote the " living word of God " through the Holy Spirit? Romans 10:9 says if I confess Lord Jesus, and believe God raised him from the dead, I'm saved! Are you a better apostle then they, that your words are greater then Gods? I don't see where it says bring two gallons of water with me when I do this... Gods words stand for themselves, don't need your opinion on the matter.. Plenty verses that show exactly what was meant when He said there's one mightier then me, that will baptize you with the Holy Spirit, this was NEEDED before Jesus... After NOT NEEDED.. If I need repentance I go straight to Jesus and His blood with it, I don't go to water with my problems...
Rom. 10:9-10 says we must confess Christ is the son of the living God, it says we will be saved, but it does not say "only", Mark 16:16 also says if we are baptized we will be saved, but baptism alone also will not save you so there is no one thing that will save you, if you "believe" on Him, you roll all these salvific sayings of His into one, if you don't obey all he commands you cannot believe on Him.

excuse me, this isn't rubbish but the plain facts.
what the verse teaches is marked in red. what's impossible is crossed out and what's affirmed is written in red.
what it says nothing about at all is left in blue.
this verse alone, isolated from the rest of the Bible, does not give enough information to answer whether a person who believes, but isn't baptized, has salvation or not.
lucky for us Christ's teaching extend beyond one single verse, isn't it!

I care about you Brain Freeze, and I don't want you to take my word for this, please look over what I have shown from the bible, if I am wrong I want to be right, but we must be careful we are not miss lead by some man made doctrine, these are of false teachers.
