Isayah 59:1-3, "Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your own iniquities have separated you from your Father; and your own sins have caused Him to hide His face from you, so He will not listen. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; sin. Your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness."

Your are derailing my thread and still not answering the original topic...

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

"listen" is word #8085 שָׁמַע shama` {shaw-mah'}

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)

Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) - 1) to hear, listen to, obey

Mattithyah 5:19, "Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Luke 6:46, "And why call Me; Ruler! Ruler! and do not the things which I say?"
Ive answered it according to the truth of the gospel...what do you want be to do, pretend Jesus was not crucified to answer your question?

What soever the law saith it says to those who are under the law...so yes to those under law this scripture is a warning that should turn them to faith in Christ and to be justified "righteous" by faith.

Are you going to put Peter (Kepha) in this same category?

Because he seems to think this principle is still validl

1 Peter (Kepha) 3:12, "For the eyes of Yahweh are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of Yahweh is against those who do evil."

Proverbs 15:29, "Yahweh is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous."

I believe Deut 18, I beleive I should hear and obey the Messiah;

Mattithyah 5:19, "Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Mark 13:22-23, "For false messiahs and false prophets will rise, and will produce signs and wonders to lead astray, if it were possible, even the elect. So be on your guard! Behold I have warned you of all things beforehand!"

Yahchanan (John) 14:23, "Yahshua answered, and said to him: If a man loves Me, he will keep My teachings and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."

Mattithyah 16:27, “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His Malakim; and then He will reward every man according to his works.”

Mattithyah 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Yahchanan (John) 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."

Yes the righteous are the righteous in faith...Just like Abraham...That's the gospel

Ro 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Hmm, soo..

Ok, Im uncertian here... I would need to look into this particular instance... interesting I have to say...

Matthew 7

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

I ask you. Who do you believe Christ was talking to?

We need to understand that ALL sinners are wicked and evil. That God is far away from such and that what they THINK is God is the false miracles that the bible talks about. Being Christian or Muslim doesn't save you as all power come from one source.

So I ask. Who's a sinner again? God don't answer sinners prayers..

Does this verse still hold true? Or is this "OT" and done away?

Proverbs 15:29, "Yahweh is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous."

I believe yes, this verses is just as true today as it was the day it was written.

Easy answer, and one of my favorites to quote in this...

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 ¶ John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Those who are seeking.

Matt 7:23-24, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity. Therefore, everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, is like a wise man who built his house on the rock;"

Or His would be disciples. We must understand sin and not do it in order for God to hear us. Until then we will only get death as a sinner's wage.

This is true, Yahweh gave the Law through Moshes and gave mercy through Yahshua.

Did your savior set you free from the Father just like Adam and Eve were set free in the garden? (remember, the snake said, nope you dont have to listen to him...)

but Jesus Christ says:

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Scripture only give one definition of sin:

1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Romans 6:23, "For the wages ofsin is death; but the gift of Yahweh is eternal life through Yahshua Messiah, our Savior."

Many use verse 4 to say the instructions of our Creator is no more..caput..ended. What say you about this verse?
1 Peter 1:9

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Using your logic concerning Romans 10:4, this verse (1 Peter 1:9) would mean our faith has also expired! The truth is..neither has expired, rather, another way of saying "the end of" would be the fullness of, not that it's done away with.

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith--the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away in 1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9. Unless of course telos means the goal.

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies - 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

James 5:11, "Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful."

Yaaqob (James) 5:11, "Behold, we regard as blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Iyyob, and have seen the ultimate result (telos) of Yahweh: that Yahweh is very compassionate and merciful."

Yes it is true!!!!!! There aren't many things in this world we can count on, but we can always count on our Almighty Creator! His Words are alive forevermore! Praise YaH!

Why believe that if it takes 2 or 3 witnesses to establish a thing? It is the only one TAUGHT because it can be misleading. Most people have no clue what the law is. So let's read a couple more verses for a better understanding.

Galatians 2

17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

In other words how can we who look to be found in Christ be sinners? If we build upon what we know is destroyed (the sinner) then we are transgressors.

Romans 14

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

In other words, you believe TV is evil. Have it to yourself or don't go around trying to convince people that it is. Whatever you allow are not, be faithful in happy in it!

I know TV is all entertainment used to control the people, but I love watching family guy! I allow it in faith and don't have to convince or be convinced by anyone else.
