your right, But John the baptised said he would, and Christ also said we would be baptized with the baptism he is being baptized with (his death on the corss) and we would be baptized with the Holy Spirit, just like John prophesied we would.
Nice try though
Again you fail to read your bible and spout your man made doctrine, John the baptist was like any other disciple, he could only baptize with water, he said Jesus could baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire...
Matthew 3:11 (NKJV)
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Christ told the disciples to baptize you, he did not say he would baptize you :
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV) [SUP]
19 [/SUP] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]
20 [/SUP] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age." Amen.
