so, when as in the NT examples demons are sent out of a man,
who is he to seek, desire or invite into his newly clean house - God's spirit, or the demons again ?
If you have to ask that you really don't know what I stand for....exactly how do you think we can grieve the Holy Spirit that DWELLS IN US?

Doesn't change the fact the we all sin occasionally...so are you sinless?

Another excellent verse and you know the bible quotes and or references both the books of Enoch and Jasher.....
The book of Jude doesn't allude to that because of one verse Dc, but hey this is a agreement thread right ?

The statement about the Lord coming with 10000's of his saints is a direct quote from the Book of Enoch....so, I am not real sure of what you are saying bro....!

Can you imagine what it would be like to have lived back then......even the names of the men of the bible teach truth.....!

It's a controversial topic so why mention it in a agreement thread ?

3rd Book of Enoch, a Rabbinic text in Hebrew usually dated to the fifth century CE.

So let me get this straight...the book of Jude quotes Enoch and states that he prophesied right? Controversial or not is irrelevant as the quote is there.....and Enoch said it.......

I will say this.....I have read both the book of Enoch and Jasher and will say two things...

1. I did not find anything that contradicted the bible
2. I highlighted things in the book of Enoch that were beyond the scope of men to know without being inspired and or instructed by a higher intelligence.....

Either way....I don't teach out of them, but a quote by Jude cannot be ignored and or rejected based upon the inspiration of the scriptures.......!

Therefore being justified by FAITH, we have peace with GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ: By who also we have ACCESS by FAITH into this GRACE wherein we STAND, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

1. We have been rendered legally INNOCENT by faith<--justified
2. Because of being justified by faith we are at peace with GOD<--NO condemnation to those in Christ
3. The two above are based upon being in Christ and (dia) through Our LORD JESUS Christ
4. Because of this we have ACCESS to the position of GRACE where we stand (because of JESUS and FAITH)
5. Because of this we rejoice in the anticipation of the worship, praise and glory of GOD!

And as Moses lifted u the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

The just shall live by faith and in Habakkuk the Just shall live by his faith....

Paul clearly taught that the life he now lives he lives by the FAITH OF the SON of GOD, He also taught that our justification is based upon the FAITH OF JESUS Christ....

Most miss the word....(OF) which can be translated OF or FROM and both indicate SOURCE......

Our salvation, justification, sanctification is based upon the FAITH OF JESUS and in Ephesians 2 it states, that NOT of YOURSELVES and that statement is directed at the FAITH which saves us...It is the FAITH of the SON of GOD which saves us, seals us, justifies us, sanctifies us..............

Hebrews 4:2, "For this message was preached to us, as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not benefit them, because they did not share in the faith of those who obeyed. "

Hebrews 3:16-19, "For some, when they had heard, rebelled. But not all rebelled who came out of Egypt through Mosheh. But with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He vow that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey?So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."

more precisely, there are a couple of 'modern' versions of 'the book of Enoch' that scholarship has shown were not at all written by Enoch, but much later, and scholarship has also indicated that an actual 'book of Enoch' existed, but to date no one has ever found an existing copy of that book.

but this is a thread about things none of us argue over... so i'll just say ...

Enoch walked faithfully with God

We see this even here on CC.

Galatians 4:16 "Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?"

isn't it like this?

If someone asks, 'What are these wounds on your body?'
they will answer, 'The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.'

(Zechariah 13:6)

Amen to this as well for sure.........Wait till they look upon him whom they have pierced and weep for him like the way one would weep for the loss of a first born son!

While I understand what you are saying I will also say that NO one can be completely faithful in ALL things...there was only one and His name is JESUS..EVEN DANIEL who had not one recorded sin prayed for forgiveness of his sins.....There is not ONE just man upon the earth that does good and sins not. Jesus said if you fail in the least point of the law you fail the whole law and are guilty of the whole law......each person has those things that they are faithful over and those things that they struggle with and LIKE PAUL said...the things that he stumbled with kept him from being lifted up above measure....I am not saying that we should not try to walk as faithful as we can and I am for sure not saying that ANYONE is above sin....IF WE SAY that we have NO SIN we are deceived and the truth is not in us....ATH THE SAME TIME he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sin when we confess that we have sinned.....There is a fine line for sure!
1 Timothy 3:11
Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
