We do have a guaranteed inheritance. IF we endure to the end, IF we overcome, If we abide in the light as Jesus did

I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

WHEN does the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin? IF we walk in the light as He did, that is the ONLY time His Blood cleanseth us. By saying IF, it then is CONDITIONAL.

so there is no eternal life, it is conditional life.

So until the day of redemption really means until we stop doing something, or do not do something, or what?

Nothing to debate here. Just read your Bibles, guys. The Word is balanced, and you guys are in a valley of OT shadows. Get on the mountain of the Word of God. Actually read it, and believe it.
i have read it and believe it. i have read the entire Bible over 80 times in my life. i am not saying that to boast, as some will most assuredly accuse. i am saying that, so that maybe, in the slight chance, you will feel that you need to read it more too.

Right now i have eternal Life, and it is guaranteed to me, right now, This does not mean i will have it a year from now. The Day of redemption, is Judgment Day, that is the Day Christ appears and redeems the Church, the dead first then the living, That is the END. He that endure to the End shall be SAVED. They are ACTUALLY SAVED on the day of Redemption, Judgement Day, Rapture.

When are the 144 000 sealed ?
Why are they sealed ?
They are sealed before the plagues fall. We don't know when that will be - God knows.

They are sealed because they have made up their minds to serve God only and nothing will change their minds God seals them. They refuse to bow to the beast and his image.

yes.

The Word of God does not say or teach that it can't be broken, that is what you say correct?
i have eternal Life, my name is written in the Book of Life, i am sealed.
Tell me, if a person is written in the Book of Life. Does that person have eternal Life, Yes or No? The Answer is YES. If your name is written in the Book of Life, you are sealed, and HAVE eternal life.
Tell me, does the Scriptures teach that a person can be blotted out of the Book of Life? Yes or no? Yes it does. Therefore the Truth is this and Scriptures can't be broken, that a person can be written in the Book of Life, be sealed, and HAVE eternal Life, BUT can be blotted out, removed from the Book of Life, NO LONGER having eternal Life, NO LONGER being sealed, NO LONGER written in the Book of Life. How is that possible if what you say is True, that if a person is sealed, it Can't be broken? Should i believe you, (which has no Scriptural proof that it can't be broken) or believe the Word of God (which does show Scriptural proof that it CAN be broken?
Do not believe any person who teaches things Contrary to sound doctrine.
i DiscipleDave, right now am sealed, Have eternal life, and my name is written in the Book of Life. If i die right this second, i Have eternal life, and my name is STILL written in the Book of Life.
Do you know why those who believe once you are sealed you are ALWAYS sealed and can't be blotted out of the Book of Life, can't possibly explain the several verses which say "He that endures to the end shall be Saved"? Because they believe they are already sealed. They can't explain those verses that say and teach a person must endure to the end to be SAVED, because they don't believe you have too. Listen not to them, they know not the Truth, They believe as they do, because it gives them comfort in believing that no matter what evil things they live in, they CAN"T lose it. Easy Christianity that is. How is believing that way on the Narrow and difficult path that leads to everlasting life. Those who believe all you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, repent of your sins, and you are sealed, and your name is written in the Book of Life never to be removed again. Tell me how is that belief on the Narrow and Difficult path. If that is not the broad and easy path, i don't know what is? Easy Christianity. False, untrue, and not from God.

Eph 1:13 "in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise

No individual is ever sealed unconditionally.

In the verse, for one to be sealed he must conditionally be "in Whom (in Christ)" and "believed". Paul is talking about Christians.

The group Christian is sealed and will remain sealed.

I can obey the gospel and become a part of this sealed group.

Yet I can become unfaithful and fall away from this sealed group. The group continues to remain sealed but I will not unconditionally remain sealed being APART from the group.

Rev 2:1-7 the church at Ephesus became unfaithful and were commanded to repent or their "candlestick" would be removed, that is, they would no longer be in this sealed group called "Christian". The group Christian remains sealed but those unfaithful Ephesians will no longer be part of this sealed group.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
While no outside force can take that promise away, you the holder of the sealed promise can open it and discard the promise inside the 'envelope of promise' by reverting to some other promise.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Hi, Elect.

The answer to your question truly is found in the very next verse, BUT NOT IN THE MANNER IN WHICH SOME PEOPLE HERE HAVE ERRONEOUSLY STATED. We read:

"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." (Ephesians 1:13-14)

The key to understanding what we just read is found in understanding exactly what "the earnest" is. Before explaining the same, here are some similar verses to consider:

"Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." (II Corinthians 1:21-22)

Again:

"For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit." (II Corinthians 5:4-5)

Unlike many today, the Apostle Paul knew EXACTLY what he was talking about or referring to when he spoke of "the earnest". You see, "the earnest" has to do with "earnest money" or with a downpayment which a potential buyer would make to show that he/she was "earnestly" considering finishing the transaction AT SOME LATER POINT IN TIME. In relation to the same, we read:

http://www.realestateabc.com/insights/deposit.htm

The Earnest Money Deposit

Most offers to buy a house are accompanied by a check. This check is generally referred to as the "earnest money deposit." The basic reason for the deposit is to impress the seller that the buyer "earnestly" intends to purchase the property.

The amount of the deposit varies from purchase to purchase, depending on a variety of factors. If a property generates a lot of interest, a buyer may make a larger deposit to convince the seller that their offer is stronger than the others. During "hot" markets, deposits are generally larger than during slow markets.

In normal times, buyers should hesitate before making a deposit that is larger than two percent of the purchase price. Underwriting guidelines sometimes require strict documentation of such deposits. A buyer may often be required to show a bank statement just prior to the date of the check, plus evidence that the check actually cleared the bank. If you're closing quickly, this might require a trip to the teller window at your bank.

There are reasons to try and keep the deposit as small as possible, but not so small that the seller doesn't take it seriously. You see, once a buyer and seller agree to terms, the earnest money deposit is usually placed in a "trust" account. At that point it is no longer the buyer's money -- it belongs jointly to the buyer and seller.

Almost all deals close and the earnest money funds are applied to the buyer's down payment and closing costs. As the saying goes, however -- there are exceptions to the rule.

Some sellers think that if the deal falls through, the earnest money deposit is automatically forfeit. Some buyers think that if the deal doesn't close, they automatically get the money back.

Neither one is true.

Even when the failure to close is the buyer's fault, the seller doesn't have a "right" to the deposit as a way to "punish" the buyer. Nor does the buyer automatically get the entire deposit back, even when they are not at fault.

First, there are normally a small amount of cancellation fees that must be paid. These fees are collected from the deposit. Second, since the deposit is held in trust, both the buyer and seller must agree on the disposition of the funds. This is a quirk of law in most states and the real estate agents and their companies have no control over the situation.

If something goes wrong very early in the deal, the seller normally understands and the deposit is usually returned to the buyer without a fuss. When things go awry later in the transaction, both parties usually exercise common sense and negotiate a fair solution. In a few rare occurrences, the buyer and seller find it difficult to agree.
The point is that is always makes sense to reach an agreement. Failure to agree ties the money up for awhile, could possibly lead to further legal action and inconvenience, and it just becomes a frustrating mess for both sides -- more so than you realize at the time.

Serious problems are the exception, not the rule. Most "challenges" are routine to a qualified professional real estate agent. The situation may be new to you, but the agent may have dealt with it many times in the past.
IOW, seeing how God "earnestly" desires to purchase us, He has given us "the earnest" or the downpayment "of the Spirit" in hope that He will eventually "SEAL the deal" AT SOME LATER POINT IN TIME. IOW, the purchasing process has not yet been completed. Can God ever get His "earnest" back? You'd better believe that He can. In fact, TWICE, IN JUST THE LAST 4 YEARS, my wife and I have received our "earnest payments" back on two different houses which we were "earnestly" considering buying. On one occasion, mold was found in the home upon inspection and we received back 100% of our "earnest money". On the other occasion, the man who was selling the house which we had made a downpayment on, thereby giving him our "earnest money", didn't have legal right to be selling the house and, again, we received back 100% of our "earnest money" deposit or downpayment.

Again, here is what the word "earnest" means as used by the Apostle Paul:

Greek Lexicon :: G728 (KJV)

an earnest

money which in purchases is given as a pledge or downpayment that the full amount will subsequently be paid
Anyhow, the point is that if God finds something wrong with that which He "earnestly" desires to purchase BEFORE THE FINAL TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE, then He, too, can get back His "earnest of the Spirit" AND THE DESIRED PURCHASE WILL NEVER BE COMPLETED.

Hopefully, this helps.

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Here we have two scriptures from Paul talking to the Galatians about how they turned back away from Christ to go back to wanting to be justified by the law, returning to sinful way. He then tells them they have fallen from grace, meaning no salvation.
Then we have this from Hebrews showing that just because you receive the Holy Spirit does not mean you can not fall away from that salvation do to His saving grace;

Hebrews 6:4-6
For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

These people received the Holy Spirit then fell away, but could not be brought to repent again because they love their sin more than God or they are caught in a false teaching that future sins can not be imputed on a believer to make them impure again.

Hebrews 3:12-14
Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

were sealed - as a verb - 1) close with or as if with a seal, make tight; 2) secure against leakage; 3) decide irrevocably; 4) affix a seal to; 5) cover with varnish 6) hunt seals [AudioEnglish.com]

We are sealed with the holy Spirit of promise - that promise of holy Spirit is "made tight", it is "secure against leakage", God "decided irrevocably" to seal those that believe with the holy Spirit.

seal - A seal, in biblical times as today, is used to guarantee or indicate ownership. Ancient seals were often made of wax, embedded with the personalized imprint of their guarantor. The significance of the act of sealing is dependent on the importance of the one doing the sealing. The Holy Spirit seals those who trust in Christ. The Spirit's presence is God's guarantee that believers are owned by him and secure in him. A believer is a secure member of God's family NOT because he or she is "holding on," but because the Spirit is applying the promises about Christ. His sealing merely comprises the initial down payment that anticipates the future, full redemption of God's "marked possession". [Baker's Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology (BibleStudyTools.com)]

Being redeemed we are God's purchased possession - God knows those that are His by the "sealing" of the holy Spirit within the believer. We are "marked" as belonging to God. That "seal" remains until the day of redemption - when we - as purchased possessions - will be redeemed.

2 Cor. 1:21,22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephesians 1:13,14 In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

In the days of the apostles it was well known what a "seal" meant on a document. It was usually an impressed image from a finger ring upon a softened wax seal on the opening point of a letter. The insignia on the seal represented the authority of the sender who backed up the contents of the letter. Often that letter was for the purpose of a slave to be set free, and for that slave to keep that document towards staying free upon the word of that sender. At any time the slave could legally yield that document of freedom, returning to voluntary slavery.

The final decision of the freed man rests upon his final decision as to which master he will serve. He can't possibly serve a master of evil while honored by promise of the righteous master.

"Anyhow, the point is that if God finds something wrong with that which He "earnestly" desires to purchase BEFORE THE FINAL TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE, then He, too, can get back His "earnest of the Spirit" AND THE DESIRED PURCHASE WILL NEVER BE COMPLETED."

We have been given the holy Spirit as a down payment until the day of redemption - when God's purchased possessions will be picked up. CORRECT . . . it is "earnest money" so to speak "a guarantee" and a guarantee is as good as whoever the guarantor is . . . the person or entity that accepts responsibility towards the down payment. Now mere man will renege on promises made, a mere man will put money down on a lay-a-way program and a mere man, howbeit one without any integrity, could just let the lay-a-way go and cut his loses BUT, BUT, BUT to put God in that same category . . .

We must remember - God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Num. 23:19

BTW - we were purchased when we believed . . . .
