Really, Pop? It's quite simple. Thomas is his Christian name, Jefferson is his middle name and Airplane is his surname.

Don't you just hate it when you meet a person and you think "hey I've just made a really good friend" but then they turn out to be two-faced, rude and mean.
I had that happen to me once, then it turned out I was looking in the mirror. Never again!
Smash all the mirrors in the kingdom. All the mirrors!

I'm not convinced. I think maybe his parents were trying to mess with my mind or something. Maybe we should take a vote on what his middle name SHOULD have been. I vote Henry.

I love your new avatar! :D
Thanks! I bet you can tell what kind of plane it is, too. :p I'm not the best artist in the world, but the plane is incredibly recognizable.

What are carnitas? They don't sound edible to me!!! o_O

carnitas are tacos made with roasted, shredded pork. we have an amazing mexican fastish-food place that serves the most delicious and authentic food, and best of all, it's only about a mile and change from my house.

typically, they serve carnitas with cilantro, onion, and guacamole. i'd go for tomato if it was in season, all on a soft corn tortilla.

oh, and its entirely too edible. : )

Entirely too edible? So you have to be careful you don't eat too much? Yeah, I know some foods like that. I know them all too well...

Hmm, that reminds me of something a former manager used to say. She was... well, she had a quirky sense of humor and not much tact. When I ate lunch she would comment on how much I ate and say "The future Mrs. Isaac won't want a fluffy Isaac."

I cared naught. I enjoyed my lunch anyway.

...WOW autocorrect. How in the world is the word "maligned" anything close to the word "laughed?" And I can't edit posts on my tablet. I've tried. Ugh...

We chose not to go to this lady. I know what I feed my children, and I know they eat healthier than a lot of other kids do. My daughter's weight issue wasn't caused by what she was eating, but the amount of milk and juice she was drinking. Due to the fact that she wasn't sleeping through the night and was still waking up two to three times even just a couple months ago, the only way I could get her back to sleep was with a drink...and she would spit out water and keep screaming.

When I learned that she was so overweight, I stopped giving her drinks at night. We spent a few weeks with almost no sleep, because I'd end up sitting up with her, rocking her, singing to her...it didn't work. She wanted a drink. But I didn't give in, and she'd eventually cry herself to sleep, which sucked. Really sucked. But, she started sleeping through the night finally. I should have done that with her when she was still a tiny baby.
My Mom still tells the story about when I put her through a horrible week. I was about 1 and a half and she was pregnant with my brother. And little cinder was convinced that 2 AM was get a bottle, get diaper changed, and then play for 2 hours time. Mom decided that that had to stop and so for a week solid I cried in the middle of the night while mom laid in her bed and cried because she was such a bad mom for making me cry. Then apparently I got it through my head that 2 AM wasn't play time and everyone lived more or less happily ever after since then. There is no perfect mom and you are doing the best job you can and trying to do better every day. We're proud of you.

It's hug day! Who wants a hug!? :D :D :D
Sure, I'll take a hug. But you'll need go go gadget arms to deliver it to me I think.

It bothers me that Thomas Jefferson didn't have a middle name.
Well to take your mind off that let me tell you about President Grant. His given name was actually Hiram Ulysses Grant, and rumor is he hated the fact that his initials spelled hug (I guess that doesn't seem very manly). When his congressman was recommending him for Westpoint he got the name wrong and assumed that Ulysses was his first name and following the convention of the time that his second name must be his mother's maiden name (Simpson). And well I guess patriotic initials were better than initials that spelled hug so he went with it.

*I'm not entirely sure if the above story is true or one of those historical anecdotes that gets repeated and passed off as fact. I do know that due to the way my twisted brain works I now sometimes refer to US $50 bills (which have Grant's picture on them for those of you not familiar with American currency) as hugs.
