Jesus does not say that Man of Sin will reign from Holy Place. Please read it again.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),

Jesus speaks of an "Abomination of Desolation" standing in the holy place. He doesn't say which Holy Place or where it is located although Jerusalem would seem to be implied because he tells those there to flee but of course, this is speculation. He doesn't even say whose holy place it is either. Jesus does invoke Daniel which means we need to see what Daniel says about the Abomination of Desolation.

Dan 11:

[SUP]31 [/SUP]And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

Daniel calls this place the sanctuary fortress. As of today there is no sanctuary fortress in Jerusalem which could be considered a holy place. Now Paul also gives us some information in 2 Thes 2:

...and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, [SUP]4 [/SUP]who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

What temple? There is no temple in Jerusalem today. This passage leads many to believe that a third temple will be built in Jerusalem. It may indeed, but what if the temple of God is somewhere else? I know, I'm just speculating here. The Vatican is both a fortress and a sanctuary and it houses St. Peter's Basilica, a Holy Place to more than half the world's Christians. ISIS has vowed to go there.

Daniel gives us another clue in this same passage.

“So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant."

The holy covenant??? Who are those who forsake the holy covenant? I guess it depends which covenant Daniel was discussing. There are 7 covenants given that I recall:

Adamic
Noahic
Abrahamic
Palestinian/Land
Mosiac
Davidic
New/Salvation

Do we have a companion passage which discusses the "Holy Covenant?" We actually do. Zacharias gave a prophesy in Luke 1. In the middle of this prophesy he uses the term "holy covenant" and makes clear it is the Abrahamic Covenant which is holy:

The Covenant to Abraham that they might dwell safely in the Land and be delivered from their enemies. So now I ask, which group of people oppose or forsake this covenant, the Catholics or the Muslims?

The Catholic Church's leading exorcist priest has sensationally claimed a missing schoolgirl thought to be buried in a murdered gangster's tomb was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties.
Father Gabriel Amorth, 85, who has carried out 70,000 exorcisms, spoke out as investigators continued to examine mobster Enrico De Pedis's tomb in their hunt for Emanuela Orlandi.
Last week police and forensic experts broke into the grave after an anonymous phone call to a TV show said the truth about Emanuela's 1983 disappearance would be 'found there'.
And although bones not belonging to the mobster were recovered they have not yet been positively identified as hers.
However Father Amorth, in an interview with La Stampa newspaper, said: 'This was a crime with a sexual motive.
'It has already previously been stated by (deceased) monsignor Simeone Duca, an archivist at the Vatican, who was asked to recruit girls for parties with the help of the Vatican gendarmes.
'I believe Emanuela ended up in this circle. I have never believed in the international theory (overseas kidnappers). I have motives to believe that this was just a case of sexual exploitation.

It doesn't say anything about him being a church leader. Look at it again.

I never said Mary is Queen of Heaven. I don't even discuss it. You keep talking about it. Islam worships an image fallen from the sky. The kiss and caress the Kaaba stone as if it were a woman.

REALLY?? Are you God?? Did you determine this?? Have you become judge?? That is quite a statement to make about 1.2 billion people who believe in God and that Jesus is His Son who died on the Cross for their sins. As far as I know, those are the requirements to be saved, not that they worship a certain way to your liking.

I believe St. Peter's Basilica is a Holy Place. Many millions go there each year to worship God and pray to our same God there. I believe that any church where the real God is worshiped is a holy place.

Again, the RCC has her sins as all churches have some issues, perhaps not as great as hers but we are talking degrees of sin here. John has warned the spirit to the Catholic Church. Which warning went to the Spirit of the RCC, I do not know. Pick one. It is quite possible that the RCC will share in Satan's Great Tribulation and that many of them will be killed. Many more may be deceived. But that does not make Catholics condemned to hell as they do worship and acknowledge the real God of Heaven as their creator and they acknowledge Jesus His Son. Their means of asking for forgiveness is flawed and most don't walk Christian lives. But we are saved by faith, through Grace, not by works.

There is a stark contrast in the beliefs of Catholics and Islam. Islam has completely replaced God with a foreign god. They worship an idol. They deny Jesus as God's Son. This faith is the HARLOT and those who follow Islam are facing Hades and Hell.

Bad acts by certain priests and church leaders does not condemn 1.2 billion people to hell. I can show you many bad acts by leaders of Islam. I can show you acts of terror, acts of raping American journalists, of kidnapping young girls and boys to be sex slaves.

Readers may be aware that Saudi Kings are officially addressed as 'Khadim-ul-Haramain wash Sharifain' (the Custodians of two holy mosques in Makka and Madina).

I just don't see the Catholic Church leaders living quite this way. Pope Francis (for as much as I criticism him) actually is living below the luxury of most popes.

Actually John never said THE AntiChrist comes from within. He said AntiChrists plural come from us. John said, "It is the last hour." Last hour for who? John did not say, "in the last hour the AntiChrist will come from us." You have no other companion passage that tells us the AntiChrist or Man of Sin comes from within. In fact, all other passages make clear the Man of Sin comes from the region to the north of Israel and from a Muslim nation.

Besides, John was in Turkey when he wrote 1 John. Therefore coming from "us" could easily mean coming from the location he was at - Turkey.

Please don't compare Mary to Semiramis. There is no comparison. Semiramis slept with her own son. She was the original Harlot - filthy whore. Mary was the mother of earthly Christ and a good woman. I did not say the Vatican is holy. I said St. Peter's is holy. St. Peter's is a church where the real God is worshiped. There is sin in every church. My church preaches false doctrines but it's either go and worship or stay home as no church preaches pure doctrine anymore.

Again, the Pope is a type of false Christ. But he is not the AntiChrist and the Man of Sin will not be Catholic.

Daniel says the Man of Sin is the King from the North. Look at the map. What is north of Israel? Certainly not Rome. Turkey is to the north and John was in Turkey when he made those comments. Further, John wrote warning letters to the spirits of 7 churches all of whom were in Turkey and none were written to any churches in Rome.
