Now you've done it! You've brought to light male wolves in sheep's clothing. Ouch!!!
I did more than that now. I am sure I got a few people upset with me. But I refuse to candy coat God's Word because someone else doesn't like it.

God spoke through a donkey but He can't speak through women? Wow amazing!!!

You are speaking from an emotional perspective. God does not operate outside of His word. God is never compelled to make a plan b. God does not need to compromise.

Elijah fretted and God showed him that God had seven thousand men who had not bowed the knee to Baal. 1 Kings 19:18

If you desire a woman to preach you have forgotten to trust God.

If you don't think God could speak through a woman then you have not a single idea of who God is.

If anyone here wants to jump all over me about my little tirade go right ahead because I am sick and tired of so called "christians" preaching a false Gospel. It's Christ alone and only Christ by which we are justified. If God sets up a woman as head pastor of a church and you are gong to go against the true preaching of the Gospel of Christ I sure do not want to be beside you when you stand before God. God will use who He wants when He wants any way He wants. If you don't like it then that's between you and God! You judge me because I would listen and learn from a female pastor? Well God will judge you because you lost faith in His ways.

Baptism won't save you. Your "good works" works won't save you. The rosary yeah ok a necklace haha funny. Follow a tradition follow a health and wealth. Follow a name it claim it. But no matter what you believe...only and only the blood of Christ can save you!

Emotional? Not even close! Holy Spirit? Yeah for sure because you completely ignore the fact that God can speak through a woman.

Now this is emotional. Dude don't even try and tell me I don't trust God. You have no idea what I go thru every day with my disabilities. Trust God? oh yeah come here live my life constant pain 24/7 365 and let's see how you do. God is Sovereign above all in control of everything. Nothing you do or say can save you. ONLY the blood of Christ can justify you before God. Not baptism not works not even listening to a male pastor. Yeah I'm sorry I have no idea what trust in God is.

Oh yeah how about this and most will hate this one. God has an elect!. Yep God knows who and who will not go to heaven not a thing you or I do can change that. That's how much I trust God! So if I am among God's elect that's great. If I am not among God's elect then well God's will be done because I have complete total trust and faith in God.

So you and all your friends get off your little white horses and let God speak...NOT YOU!
Well I hate to add to your misery but you have issues. Doctrinal issues. You have an incorrect view of election. There is nothing arbitrary about who is saved and who is condemned. Does God know what choice you will make? Yes. Does God force you to make that choice? Nope. Every man has a responsibility to choose between good and evil. It is a consequence of the fall in the garden. God wants you to choose Christ and the diabolical one wants you to reject Christ. You get to cast the deciding vote.

You get what you need from reading or hearing Gods word. Sermonizing male or female is not necessary to come to a saving knowledge of Christ.

We must have certainty of our salvation. Gods word requires it. His Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we are His. As His sheep we hear His voice. He knows us and we know Him.

We must choose to accept Gods grace to be saved. We certainly can do no works to obtain salvation. John 3:18-20 clearly demonstrates that the choice is made by a mans love for light or darkness.

You wanna know what I think? I think there is gonna come a day when circumstance will provide Christians with no choice but to unify.....and all the petty bickering will become a distant memory.

Funny..you state. "Sermonizing male or female is not necessary to come to a saving knowledge of Christ". That is exactly true. It is the Holy Spirit touching the person's heart that does it. But also how can you state "Sermonizing male or female" if females cannot give sermons? Or do you just mean a "female substituting for a male"? Either way a female would be teaching men which you apparently don't believe is correct. So if a female is giving a sermon in any way they should be disregarded?

Any sermon a female would give no matter the situation would be considered "teaching" men. Or is a "substitution" day different?

The way the arguments go on here it looks like we all have about a 50/50 chance of being one or the other.

Yep and I am not worried. Are you?

But I see you ignored my question. "If not for God's grace do you truly think you would choose God?"

Yeah ok so without the grace of God what would you choose?
John 1:8-9 ...the True Light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 3:18-21 ...everyone that doeth evil hateth the Light neither cometh to the Light lest his deed should be reproved.

Gen 3:5 ...ye shall be as gods knowing good and evil vs 7 ...and they knew they were naked.

I chose grace to be forgiven and have eternal life. I chose because God extended to me His great mercy. God pitied me and showed to me my need of salvation.

Paul tells us in Ephesians that wives are to submit to their husbands. Notice what he says about husbands. We are love love our wives as Christ loves the church. What did Jesus do? He died. So men are actually to die for their wives. So next time you tell your wife to sit down and be quiet during church think about that.

Sorry I went over your head. Sermonizing is taking the liberty to illustrate what the scriptures teach from the perspective of the person speaking. It is not necessary to add illustrations to Gods word. Gods word is sufficient to draw men to Christ. The Holy Spirit minsters through the word of God to bring conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment. God indeed does it all.

You have implied that sermonizing requires a pulpit on Sunday morning. My error for not providing more specific information.

Haha you cannot choose grace. God gave grace you don't get to choose it.

The actual question is "if God did not give us grace would you choose Him?"

Christ died for sinners that He might redeem them from their sins. Christ loves the church and has promised that even the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the church. Caring and protecting the church supplying her needs day by day with the promise of eternal bliss in glory.
