Well that is not true that it was for rewards and not salvation;

Romans 2:7
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

1 Timothy 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:19
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

2 Timothy 2:10
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Titus 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Titus 3:7
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Then salvation is not a gift of God, it is a wage which one earns, like a payment, You do good, and I will pay you your wage.

Keep trying to work for it, You can neverr pay enough or sacrifice enough to earn it, if you could Christ died in vein

Well we can answer that by going back to Galatians once again, as Paul shows that they did walk in the faith a one point. By stating his amazement that they turned away from the Lord's gospel to another false gospel in Galatians 1:6. Paul does not say here they were never in Christ, but says they once walked properly in Christ tell false teaching came in and drew them away. Paul follows up that if they continued in that false teaching Christ remission for their sin has become of no effect to them, and they have fallen and no longer under God's grace.

The amazing thing you fail to realise is who Paul accursed (damned) He did not damn the people who changed, he damned the false teachers who were twisting the gospel of Christ by adding works.
Maybe people should learn to read.

No it is a gift, but the thing that some can't seem to get over is that a true faith the bible describes is an active faith.
And Paul here is saying that we must hold firm in the faith and by so doing we have assurance and an expectation to receive eternal life. The bible puts a very important emphasis on actions/works not as a way to earn salvation, but to show a true faith that will never stumble and fall from the faith.
Lord Jesus says many will fall away, Paul says many will fall away, and the Holy Spirit says many will fall away....
And the ways they fall away is do to trials, tribulations, and false teaching. Here we have 3 witnesses saying the same thing about falling away, so us as believers should believe their testimonies. Especially since 2 of them is the Lord and the Holy Spirit, and Apostle Paul confirms them....

Eph 1:18-28
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might
which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,
which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

all hail King Jesus!! ♥

At the end of the day their gospel is.....

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosever does many wonderful works will not perish but is gaining everlasting life......

or

In the grace you are having been saved out of works and that of yourselves it is of works not of grace so every man can boast......
Bro, Like you, I do not believe in works based at all.

As far as the statement made by me about sinning, I am not advoating perfection, I am stating what the word tell's us, that SIN is a choice after the new creation reality...

I am only suggesting to you that you get into Romans 1-8 and then Genesis 3, James 1.13-15, 2 Peter 1.1-11 and 2 John 2.14-17 and study it out....

This is not about works based salvation and about being perfect...it is about complete understanding that SIN is a choice and not an action

i think you are making it too easy. They don't believe you when you say that all they have to do is ask for a cookie and believe that you will give them a cookie and all they have to do is put the robe of goodness that the cookie gives them....and then put on on an attitude of obedient gratefulness because of the sacrifice you made so that they could have a cookie.
i think if you told them that they could earn the cookie that you would otherwise freely give them by having them mow your lawn for the rest of their lives they would feel better about accepting the cookie.

Wrong, Paul told those who have turned form Christ to the false gospel of being justified by the law that Christ has become of no effect to them and they have fallen from grace. He did not just accursed the false teachers, as he also said those who turned to follow those teachings were not saved under grace either.

So the weak fail and lose their salvation, and only the strong can have eternal life?

Absolutely right! Any garage sale is a similar example. People look in the box marked "Free stuff" but move on. Put a sign on the same box that says, "25 cents each" and the stuff is gone first thing in the morning. People don't want to understand "free" particularly when it comes to our Savior's grace.

the point you do not understand,

is you make continuing in faith a down payment for the thing you claim is a gift. this it is not a gift, it is a reward for not falling out of faith. thus it is earned, not freely given

Now days anything pretty much that has peanut butter I buy and eat; cookies, pop-tarts, ice cream, and so on......

You do understand that you just said that THOSE WHO TURN FROM GRACE AND ADD WORKS ARE CURSED BY PAUL right?
