In Romans chapter 7, Apostle Paul was explaining to the redeemed Roman church about the Law that he was bound to, previously as a Pharisees and how he battle with sin in the 'flesh' as a slave to sin. This is so that they will not be influenced by that same very Law once again that was given to the Jews by Moses.

Apostle Paul was ahead of these who still bound in the 'flesh/carnal' and have gone ahead of CHRIST chosen Apostles, as still 'slaves' and witnessing 'counterfeits' and 'imposters', as they also manage during his absence, 'bewitched' the Galatian church as well.

Thank you and peace be with you in the name of MESSIAC ADONAI YESHUA.
ty brother,

praise YHWH! and may His face shine upon you.

I have to say there is a big difference between obedience and justified by works.

and yes the pharisees made their own law;

Mattithyah 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them: And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"

Mark 7:5-9, "Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him; Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? He answered, and said to them: Well has Isayah prophesied of you hypocrites--as it is written: This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men. For laying aside the Law of YHWH, you hold the tradition of men! Then He said to them: How well you reject the Law of YHWH, so that you may keep your own tradition!"

Mark 7:13, "Making the Laws of YHWH of no effect through your tradition you have handed down! And many other similar things you do."

Philippians 3:5-11 (KJV)
5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
You prove my prior point.

"as touching the law, a Pharisee;"

not the Law of the Most High;

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

1 John 3:4, "Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Yahchanan (John) 5:14, Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you.

1 John 3:4, "Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law."

In Romans chapter 7
Romans 7:7 What? Can anyone therefore say that the Law is sin? No! By no means! But to the contrary, I did not know sin; transgression of the Law, except through the Law, for I did not know lust, unless the Law had said: Do not covet.

12 Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous.

13 Did that which is righteous, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through that which was righteous, so that through the commandments, sin might become utterly sinful.

14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin.

16 And if I did what I did not want to do, I agreed that the Law is righteous.

17 As it was, it was no longer I myself who did it, but it was sin living in me.

22 For I delight in the Law of YHWH according to the inward man;

23 But I saw another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the Law in my mind, and bringing me into captivity of the law of sin, which is in my members.

25 Thanks be to YHWH, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of YHWH, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin.

Romans 8:2 Because through Yahshua Messiah, the Law of the Spirit has set me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin.

Romans 8:3 For what the Law was powerless to do, in that men sought to defeat; overthrow, fit, YHWH did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, to bear witness against sin. And so He condemned the sins of all mankind."

1 John 3:4, "Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law."

1 Yahchanan (John) 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of YHWH: When we love YHWH by keeping His Laws. For this is the love of YHWH: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

Romans 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin.

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), YHWH; for it his not subject to the Law of YHWH, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please YHWH."

Revelation 14:12, "In this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of YHWH, (in conformity) with the faith in Yahshua Messiah."

Matt 7:12, "So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets."

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Romans 13:9-10, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."

1 John 5:2-3 (ESV), "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

No the New Testament teaches that love fulfills all the law...and we only know the love of God through Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God that sheds His love abroad in our hearts.... Its also clearly teaches that legalism does not keep the law...so of course obedience is love, not legalism.
The bible warns that the ole serpent will try to led believers away from the simplicity that is in Christ.....what is that simplicity?
That nothing profits but faith working by love....

1Jo 3:23 ¶ And this is his commandments, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

“We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles
You mean to say Christians do not have a 'Law' to 'practice' together as 'one'?

That quote of Apostle Paul. isn't he addressing to the 'born again' Jews in the church, who together with him previously were under the 'rule' of the written 'TORAH' of GOD and the 'TORAH' was given at first by GOD to the Israelite and for a moment to 'act' as their 'custodian'?

Didn't GOD said to HIS chosen Prophet that HE is going to make 'New Covenant' with HIS people?

Didn't that happen sending CHRIST and giving them to HIS chosen disciples who became the Apostles to HIS church, even bringing them all to one order, later written in the HOLY BIBLE as the New Covenant 'doctrine to faith', first believing in 'every word' of them written and then accepting them all whole heartedly and then act upon them in the name of 'True Faith' of GOD's New Covenant, in honoring CHRIST our LORD and Saviour; 'the author and finisher of our faith'.?

Isn't that the 'doctrine in whole faith', GOD want us as Christian to be 'conformed' to?

And so to continue how Apostle Paul address the 'born again' Jews, who were together among the 'born again' Gentiles 'gatherings', 'not to reintroduce' any of them in 'practices' once again, especially on those who have been set free by GOD and are now under the and 'established written poof document', New Covenant 'Law of CHRIST' of faith. that HE promised the Israelite for first, through their Prophet, would take place in the near future to come.

Blameless before man...no man could have charged him with breaking the law...but of course God charged him and he finally he seen what he really, was as seen in Rom 7

The following is my understanding of the verses you responded to:

While we were yet without strength, Christ died for the ungodly Rom 5:6

When a person becomes a Christian they are weak, helpless babes in the faith. How is the sin they have been enslaved by over many years to be dealt with? Some sin the individual can immediately stop themselves, it may not have much of a hold on them, but what of the rest? The sin that has so tightly wrapped itself around the convert over years, if not decades. If we say all sin must immediately cease in order for a persons Christianity to be justified for many the road ahead would seem impossible. The simple Gospel message of repent and believe suddenly does not seem so simple at all. However, such a message is in reality justification through works of the law, for sin is transgression of the law.
It is for the new convert to stand by faith in Christ and trust Him for victory over the sin they are enslaved by, they stand in their one and only righteousness before God. During this time it is evident they themselves are a sinner.
How would it look to someone who does not understand the Gospel message at this time? Here before them is someone rejoicing in their salvation, while at the same time having glaring sin that needs to be dealt with. However, though the new convert can rejoice in their being saved, at the same time they hate the sin that stil binds them, for they have been born again of the Spirit. But to someone who does not understand the Gospel message, they would ask the question. ''Does Christ promote sin'' For here before them stands someone praising God they are saved, while still having glaring sin in their life that needs dealing with. Hence Paul's question
But if the convert refused to stand by faith in Christ while seeking to be changed from being a slave to sin, to being led into holiness, and relied on them defeating the sin to be justified as a Christian, they would fail, and simply prove they are a lawbreaker for sin is transgression of the law

.
Paul is simply explaining that Jews, who were given the law in the first place knew they could not be made right with God by works of the law. There is no inference he is only speaking to Jews. However, in the book of Acts, if you are speaking of ''all the law,'' the Jerusalem church, many of whom had been Christ's disciples differentiated between Jew and Gentile-as you know concerning which laws they be asked to follow(Acts 15&21)

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
You mean 'that keepeth' the two commandments'?

1. Love your GOD with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

2. Love your neighbour as thyself

How does even 'one' can 'keepeth' them, when from beginning of 'birth', there is no parental teaching for and remain as guidance to be learned first and then in understanding and believing to all of them 'faith', confidently put them to 'test' in 'faith and action according to all of them', so that for every 'new born comers' will 'grow', while also 'keepeth' them in fulfilling the 'Two Commandmant'?

In the Old Covenant of the same GOD, i speak only as using them as a reference. Didn't the 'Law of Moses and the Prophets' written in them, were given for HIS redeemed people to 'practice' and didn't it even, as Apostle Paul mentioned to the Galatians church, that acted and that was placed on them as to be a temporary 'custodian', until the New is revealed and given, whose 'words' stand forever and ever, Amen.

That were 'all' (the Law and the Prophets) also given and made and written on the basis of the same 'Two Commandments'?

Then why is 'the Law of CHRIST and HIS chosen Prophets' of the New Covenant as promised came and conquered, then 'given', as teaching of 'spirit' and 'life' and 'made', as the New Covenant of GOD with his new born again to 'life' people Jews first, then Gentiles and written, for teaching, rebuking errors, correcting faults and training one in righteousness, so that a man of GOD will be fully equipped and fully trained to do all kind of good works, on the 'basis' of the same 'Two Commandments, no need to 'practice' at all?

That just in believing by no works/practices to them at all, they would be all automatically be built up from inside of us by the HOLY SPIRIT?

Is this verse written in your 'self' reasoned out generation Gospel?

i know you would want to quote to me Scriptures like, 'GOD will finish HIS good works HE started in us'.

HIS good works HE will finish in us indeed, but we fail in acknowledgement and response to 'abide/keep/continue' in practices the guidance teaching, being in ignorance and arrogance to HIM, as 'lukewarm' 'by-faithful' cowards, ready to be rejected by that good work of HIS also.

Hmmmmm, says AM in my bibles
Well how is it wonderfully convenient for 'carnal' to be excused and remain in imperfection and one day Grace shall abound in us mightily?

Please continue to Romans chapter 8 about the 'liberty' from 'carnality' and 'sin' and therefore there is no condemnation for those who belong to CHRIST JESUS, for they been 'liberated' by the 'Law of the SPIRIT'. 'Therefore now and hence forth' it continues to say about our own 'workouts', that when one, once again 'sow' onto the 'thinking' and according to the 'works of the carnal.flesh will reap death'.

And when one 'sow' onto the 'thinking' and 'according to the works of the SPIRIT, will reap life'

'Works of the SPIRIT' is written in the New Covenant and reference Old, as Teacher and Leader. to 'built up' 'new comers to the faith' 'first in Sound doctrine Spiritual knowledge of the HOLY BIBLE and especially the New Covenant.

As it is written in justification to my testimony/word that in whole;

"All Scripture are inspired/breathed by GOD and is useful for 'teaching', rebuking error', 'correcting faults' and 'training one in righteousness', so that a man of GOD will be fully equipped and fully trained to do all kind of good works."

Looks like i have witnessed 'lads' in debates and not 'a man' who does all kind of 'good works' fully trained and fully equipped from the 'works of the HOLY SPIRIT' 'using' HIS inspired 'All Scripture'.

'According to the works of the HOLY SPIRIT' and 'works of the HOLY SPIRIT in us' is from and through 'All Scripture' and from them all 'fully equipped' and 'fully trained' to do all kind of good works.

You 'lads', sorry i am troubled in my spirit that do you want to still remain in 'ignorance' to all of these of the true 'work of the HOLY SPIRIT in all believers' and teach others falsely to perish once again after they have been 'saved'?

Your premise is wrong, unless you believe Paul is speaking of his life as a Christian in rom ch7:14-25. I do not, but rather of the consequences of living under a law of righteousness as a Pharisee.
Therefore, bearing that in mind, to stress AM instead of WAS in the remark of mine you are referring to negates your above point and makes it redundant

Yes we are indeed not under the 'schoolmaster' of the Old, Jews according to the 'Torah' and Gentiles according to the 'Law' written in their hearts anymore because of the Grace and Truth that CHRIST brought us and now witnessed by believers through the written New Covenant. They are of CHRIST who 'believe' and now are under the 'New and finally revealed and given by GOD the perfect school 'MASTER', JESUS of Nazareth who gave HIS teaching to HIS Newly redeemed people 'saved' from sin and death, beginning from the 'Sermon of the Mount', 'building them up' especially HIS disciples to 'abide/keep/continue' under the New Covenant 'spirit' and 'life' order of GOD, and later also 'the same' for their established churches and also with orderly instructions for them, until the book of Revelation.

In them are given 'words of spirit and life' consisting of 'terms' and 'conditions', plus 'rules' and 'regulations' (just like a 'shadow' of the Kingdom of GOD here on earth) of an 'employer's' contract made with his 'employee' or a 'customer's' contract with his 'vendor' or 'contractor' or 'supplier'.

If we say we believe in JESUS and do not listen to HIS words of 'spirit' and 'life' that also say;

"If you abide/keep/continue in My word .........................................."

"
Everyone who hears these teaching of mine and does them .................."

"Not only hearers but also doers of the word."

"Faith without works is alone and dead."

"Workout your own salvation in fear and trembling."

Please do not remain 'shortsighted' as according to the words of Apostle Peter in his epistle to the church, who calls them to 'add/supplement to their faith .................................', written in 1 Peter 1;5-9.

i wish not to continue if these of CHRIST is not also welcomed.

Thank you and GOD bless you in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Romans chapter 7 is not the context because Apostle Paul continued his testimony/word in chapter 8 as well, testifying his and believers no 'condemnation' and 'liberty' and thus forward explains since being in the 'newness' and 'live' to 'workout' either to fall back according to the 'desires' and 'passions' of the 'flesh' and be dead or according to the 'SPIRIT' and have life.

Thank you, i am done here and GOD bless you in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Maybe you didn't read it...lets see what the commandments of God are that John is speaking of....and it don't really even matter because its already been made absolute and clear that all the law is fulfilled in one word...love

So if you don't love, your not keeping any commandment of God...that should be evident to anyone who reads and believes the bible.

Yes you are right HIS commandment is, 'love one another'. That love must not once again come from carnal/flesh's 'passions' and 'desires', for it is 'conditional love' of 'self' righteousness of this world. The world also loves it's own, as JESUS proclaims in the Gospel and they do what is 'pleasing' in their sight for one another and their gods in religiousness.

But we have been 'sanctified' by GOD through HIS 'every word' from the beginning, that 'set us apart' from all of that of this 'world' and it's 'pattern', never to be 'conformed' to them once again after being washed clean, by thus forward still choose to remain in carnal/flesh and make out excuses according to them proclaiming, 'imperfection of the flesh', continuing in it's thinking and things according to them in also perform so called 'good works'.

Yes once again it is all about 'love', i truly agree, but whose 'love' are we referring to, the written sound doctrine 'spirit' and 'life' knowledge 'AGAPE' of the New Covenant or the tradition and doctrine of men 'love', that is also okay to 'compromise' and sin, which has taken over the church during HIS absent years?

Worldly 'love' or GOD's New Covenant 'AGAPE' 'practiced' towards one another first? If we do not love one another, then we are 'murderers' against one another, then how can we also love our enemies?

And so what is the 'definition' in teaching and understanding and practices of GOD's 'AGAPE'? Aren't of CHRIST words of 'spirit' and 'life' spoken and written in the New Covenant. So that those who believe in HIS every word of GOD, will faithfully execute them day by day and during 'tribulations' and 'persecutions', in humble and humility remain submissive and obedience to all of them written, even to the point of 'one' is able to lay down one's own life because of 'AGAPE' in action for another?

They only can be found in CHRIST who gave them in 'whole', even written in the HOLY BIBLE New Testament and by the 'Help' of the HOLY SPIRIT teach them and called them to 'abide' in them all as well and bear fruits and their fruits must 'abide'. For no one can bear fruits without HIM in them, HIS 'words' and 'love' of the New Covenant. They are to be 'practiced' in 'believe' to faith and faith to 'action', just like their 'father in faith' Abraham where in 'faith', did everything that GOD told him to do, without doubt or hesitation even though they seem hard, weird and foolish to others. And be 'conformed' day by day in 'practice' from these taught and reminded sound doctrine knowledge of 'AGAPE', written in their 'heart'. 'mind', 'soul' and 'strength' in order to truthfully and faithfully remember the love GOD knowledge in their 'new thinking' and be like their MASTER, the 'spirit-man' CHRIST JESUS and to do all kind good works for one another in pleasing to GOD and not at all any men.

Well fair enough, one may ask how we know that this testimony/word is true?

Beginning from the 'Sermon of the Mount of JESUS of Nazareth' until the book of Revelation, how many 'do not' have believers of CHRIST witnessed upon reading and learning and understanding throughout the 'spirit' and 'life' sound doctrine knowledge of the New Covenant and taught by the HOLY SPIRIT, even through man of GOD, as it is written in the HOLY BIBLE?

They are 'all' the 'commandments of LORD JESUS CHRIST', given to all of us who say we 'believe' in HIM, as we have listened to HIM from the beginning, as HE is from GOD who made that New Spiritual Covenant through and with us.

And all of these are 'undeniable' even also to a 'child' of GOD who read or hear about them 'faithfully'.

So 'Keepeth' then them, HIS every spoken and written 'commandments', which was written and established in the New Covenant, given to HIS newly redeemed people from 'sin' and 'death' and from hence froth live 'in' and 'as' a guidance, also in 'practices' to all of them. This is through what 'one' and 'i' and others who believe in HIS every word of 'spirit' and 'life' are 'founded upon', in order to 'practice AGAPE' Spirituality liberation everyday in 'denying carnal/flesh's selfish feelings and desires' temptation evident in our lives as according to Galatians chapter 5.

Then truly 'one' is 'counted' and 'commended' by CHRIST as 'well done My faithful servant (according to My every word of the New Covenant) and take rest for now', they who will be 'taken up' coming soon.

John 8:19 'Where is your father?' Jesus replied, 'You know neither me nor my Father; if you knew me you would know my Father as well.'

So by reading this verse we can conclude that if we know the Father we will know Yeshua and if we know Yeshua we will know the Father.

My question to everybody is how can you read this verse, understand this verse and still try to leave out certain parts of the Bible or try to change a God that is not changing?
