Yeah, I just love someone trying to educate me on the subtleties of Hebrew or Greek verb conjugations or tense usages when they can't even handle their own native language adequately enough to pass 5th grade English.
Thanks for making me feel inferior in almost every way except one....my irresistible charm and most handsomeness and also my cool under pressure demeanor.

Well, you still have THAT going for you, whereas I have to rely upon simply being clever.

We must remember Sirk.....not everyone will get by in life with just their looks.

Call it a curse.:(:)

BTW, Willie when are you going to admit you're really 45, man?
No more lies....no....more....lies.

Do you eat Wheaties or something?

Want to remember the difference?

Affect with an A is an Action. (It's a verb.... usually)

Effect with an E is an End-result (It's a noun)
Thank you, brother!

Hey, if you guys think you have troubles......... I had a stroke three years ago, April 10/2012, and besides having to learn to walk, talk clearly, and feed myself all over again, I had to learn to type again, and to master rudimentary math...... couldn't even remember how to do long division, and had forgotten every single multiplication table.

This is why I joke about "trying" to speak the four languages in which I used to be reasonably fluent.

Oh.....and commas are our friends too.
i'm a big fan of semicolons; i notice some people use commas where they should use them, but it doesn't really bother me.

When I have to write my own name...which is Sirk....I never capitolize it because it shows that I have great humility about who I am in the whole scheme of things.
me either.

EDIT:
that's not true. when i'm writing to someone for business, i capitalize what's supposed to be capitalized. i guess because i'm trying to impress someone. or more to the point, that i'm trying not to unimpress someone :p

I will admit... that is this old man's "bragging" photo. I actually never have been able to bench press much more than my own weight. (Most "studly" guys can easily bench double their own weight.)

Well, I guess be proud that you're in good shape at "69"......ahem......45.:)

I think we all have that one "bragging" photo ready to be posted at a moments notice.
I know I do.

"Oh, this old photo of me?......wrestling 3 bears with my chest muscles glimmering in the Hawaiian sun....
I just ran across it in some old photos......"

BTW, don't ask me why 3 bears are hanging out in Hawaii with me....it's just my "bragging photo" example.

And you never talk about the three weeks it originally took to find that ancient photo, and then scan it into the computer.
