We started Nehemiah this morning. That's a subject for another thread.

Modern technology is great, but it has it's limitations. I guess that's why God made paper.

My cat has me so well trained he will lead me to my chair so he can sit on my lap. If I try to read at my desk He will lay on my Bible until I sit in my chair. But I thought I had "beat" him when I built a bookstand...wrong! Now he lays on my notebook. Although he is a pretty good bookstand when laying on my lap :)

I guess I am really old as I don't want to read a book on a computer screen. I love holding a book and turning the pages it is like an old friend. Then there is the story inside that take me off to far away places all while I am sitting poolside...Drop the computer in the water and see what happens....poof....bye bye booky....

I am right with ya JL. I need the smell of the print, the flipping of the pages the feel of the binding. Besides every stupid time I highlight something on the computer I end up with all these highlighter marks all over the screen. How the heck do you remove highlighter from a screen.

My husband brought home steamed chicken and broccolli from our local Chinese tonight too

I made him go get it for me (never left the house) lol
