I love it, yet I don't at the same time :p I'm a person who likes to be alone a lot so I tend to surround myself with well, myself. And fur babies. Those too.

I should get out of the house more <.<

Looking into a great opportunity. If it's not for me then it's not for me, but I'm praying really hard about it.

Started the morning by finding out I'm going to a Lindsey Stirling concert in May...

I would totally do a happy dance, if I were that kind of person. As it is...

*happy dance*
You're attending a Lindsey Stirling concert? So cool, Cristen!

Does happy dance with you.

Walked with my Daughter, she rode her bike. I ran up to her, I can't run. I can walk fast but once I get into the running mode I look weird. Then my back immediately starts to hurt. I just can't run.

Running is for the birds. Or...cheetahs. Whichever.

"I just can't run."

Hmm... I know some pumas who would be interested to hear that.

God may be very well working on this situation or I am very analytical and have created said scenario in my mind.
Hopefully not the second one, because I feel the Holy Spirit, like a lot.
And that would be very heartbreaking if I were creating it in my mind.

Ugh, I'm so embarrassed with how flustered I am right now.
And realizing the way I'm developing in my identity with God and how that leaves all those cracks within my being for him to fill.

Bed time!

I'm a mommy of a little boy!! I'm so excited to see the little man face to face! I can't wait to tell everybody I know. I just have to wait until the onesie I ordered gets here, and then I can make the gender reveal pictures!
I can be patient, I can be patient, I can be patient...

1) I taught my Bible study group Sunday night. We take turns teaching. I just joined the group in January so I was a little nervous, but it went really well.

2) I taught my pup to lay on her back and show her belly when I say, "Where's your tummy?" I've also recently taught her to roll over, and "Bang!" (with a gun pointing motion, same as play dead), as well as "Stand pretty" where she stands up with her paws against her chest. Like a standing version of beg. She doesn't do them super consistently but I'm working with her. She's a smart cookie.

3) Speaking of cookies, I almost made myself a brownie-in-a-mug tonight (okay it's not a cookie, it's a sweet) but I DIDN'T and I exercised instead and anyone who knows me and my sweet tooth know this is a big deal.

4) My work assignment changed twice last week, increasing my work load both times. The first time I was told, the second time I was not, work just showed up that wasn't there before. I'm still managing to hold my head above water, starting to feel a teesny bit overwhelmed but I think once I get used to it I'll be okay, and they seem to think I can handle it, so...I'm gonna just plow on through.

I can... But just know it's dangerous to know. ;) This is the halved version, the full version was way too much even for me. I also usually just do mine in a bowl. I like to live on the edge.

- 1/8th cup sugar
- 1/8th cup flour
- Dash of cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- 1 T cocoa powder

Mix together well. Then add:
- 1 T canola/vegetable oil
- 1/8th cup water

Mix together. Depending on microwave settings, cook for about 1 min 25 seconds. You can drizzle heavy cream on top, or add a dollop of peanut butter, or whipped cream. I sometimes add chocolate chips to the mix before cooking, or as Nutella. It's very customizable. You could do ice cream, or chocolate syrup... Mmm...

I've made it so many times I have it memorized. I will also shamefully admit that I have, on more than one occasion, not even cooked it and just eaten the batter. :-/

A cookie and a subway sandwich is like a light snack. I'd be hungry again in like 20 minutes.

One of my favorite things to do is to read Christian books in the evening before bed.
