We are having a "work day" at church today, sigh. I know, I know, but it's freezing cold, some wind, my tired old bones do not do well in such conditions, yet I will struggle through. Praying for God to strengthen me. Today's breakfast is a bit meager.

Good lookin muffin and coffee not a bad way to start the day....

Got back from "work day" and I'm pretty much toast.......sigh.........hurts to be old. But, the yard at the Church looks really good, and with Resurrection Sunday only a week away, it was worth the pain. We also got a lot of stuff cleared out of storage and going to donate it to a couple of places in town. All in all, a productive 5 hours........but, goodness........sigh.

Still, I thank God I'm even able to do what I can for my church family.

It is always a good work day when you can come away unhurt......They had a really big filing job for me at the last job I had and I told my boss that I was not refusing to do it, but to be aware that because the file cabinets were so tall and my reach not so great that first it would take me a long time to do it and second I will probably be missing work from pain in my shoulders as I am not a spring chicken anymore. Was it possible to get the tall young guy to do this particular task? I never had to file again..... About two years later the company laid off a large portion of the department I worked in. The main boss and I got laid off on the same day....I said well I was leaving with good company.....I love being retired.....
