Saying sin is forgiven, and saying one no longer sin, is not the same thing.

You do not need forgiven, unless you are still guilty under the law as a sinner.

Here is your problem. The law condemns you where you stand, because as you even admit, you still sin.

Yet you refuse to be healed of your sin, because you think your sin does not stink, and all you have to do is say I am sorry and God will forgive you.

News flash. The only way to be forgiven is to RECIEVE the grace gift of God. Not EARN the merit of salvation by doing something.

No, how does a man make things right with his wife if he cheats on her? Wouldn't it involve him saying he is sorry and in him not doing so again? But by what you believe, a husband can expect to cheat on his wife, not say he is sorry, and still continue to cheat on her and still be in good standing with his wife. I am sorry. The real world doesn't work like that. And Jesus used real world examples to illustrate spiritual truth.

Also, when you say that I am holy and you are not holy, that implies that you are living a life that is contrary to how God wants you to live. For the Scriptures say, be ye holy as I am holy.

Holy simply means to be set apart.

A child of God is holy, because they want nothing to do with the world. which continues to let them down.

His asking forgiveness has no bearing on her forgiveness, It may help restor their relationship. but it has no bearing

Scripture has to be compared with Scripture. You can't take one text and focus a laser beam on it as if that is what the Bible says on the whole matter. The Bereans were more noble because they search the Scriptures on whether those things be so or not comparing spiritual things with spiritual things (i.e. Scripture with Scripture).

Why does Scripture tell us to forgive others in order to be forgiven if we would just all do that naturally as believers? It would then be kind of pointless to read the Word of God then.

Besides, Hebrews 3 says,

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.​

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

The author of Hebrews here is talking to brethren and he says to them not to have an evil heart of unbelief whereby they would depart from God. For it says they can be hardened thru the deceitfulness of sin. Again, this doesn't sound like OSAS to me.

Asking a question is not the same as making a claim. As for Hebrews 3: So you don't believe in OSAS? You do believe a brother can depart from the living God? You do believe that they can be hardened because of the deceitfulness of sin?

As for your statement about how I am arguing: Well, I am here to fight the good fight and stand up for the truth of what God's Word says. If someone wants to go against what the Word says plainly I will be happy to discuss that with them in a kind and loving way. But to argue just mindlessly? I hope that is not what you are suggesting.
