Coffee is mostly water. I recommend Arabica beans. Lady Blue drinks her coffee iced, presumably with crushed ice rather than cubes. Word of the day - espresso.

HERASIE! pure HEARASIE!

I'm glad everyone had a wonderful day today.

Mama and I had a great day. We began it with a sunrise praise music and message and message service. We had a break for breakfast (I managed to get a full mug of coffee. The lady who brought it to me said that it was a small cup. I learned a long time ago not to argue with someone serving coffee.), then a celebration message, and ended the morning with a message in music and song.

We came home and had a nap, a great afternoon with family, then spent a couple of hours in the swing. My grandson and nephew are fixing us a smoked Prime Rib (Mama's favorite meal) for dinner.

I think that we are going to finish the day watching "The Bible" movie.

Don't we serve a wonderful Risen Savior?

My daughter calls it 'mud water'. I have to add a lot of cream to coffee to take away the bitterness. Definitely understanding kodiak's description of not handling the taste. I don't know how my dad drinks it black. Let me guess, only real men drink the grits.
I don't know, but I could probably handle the taste now....I was on one med that the doctor called skunk meds because it smelled like a skunk and supposedly tasted like it too, How he knows that I am not sure.
But having worked at a grocery store, I can say that coffee is one of the favorite things to buy...it is weird, I face the coffee then come back 30 minutes later and it is destroyed....

I just saw this quote from Charles W. Colson. Very interesting event to relate this to....
I know the resurrection is a fact, and Watergate proved it to me. How? Because 12 men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead, then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoned and put in prison. They would not have endured that if it weren't true. Watergate embroiled 12 of the most powerful men in the world-and they couldn't keep a lie for three weeks. You're telling me 12 apostles could keep a lie for 40 years? Absolutely impossible.
