how can reading the word of God be wrong? are we not to read about Jesus and God and his laws I get it you don't think games are wrong if used in modarashoin but the word of God really man come on think of a better analogy.
There is more to life then reading the Bible. What about praying? What about talking to people about God? What about helping those who are in need? (which the Bible commands us to do) Just doing one good thing and ignoring the others is not right. Video games has a place in life, but it needs to be prioritized correctly.

you know reading the word of God all hours of the day day by day will not only make you stronger and faith but make you closer to God. The word of God is not just a book, the power that lies in every scripture is more than a nuke. I would be overjoyed to hear someone is reading the bible like that

Be careful there. A lot of what the bible says, we certainly should NOT be doing. Read some of the "stoning" stuff.... stubborn son are supposed to be killed according to one part of the Bible. Luke 14:26 says we should hate our entire families. (Read it)

Reading the Bible? Yes!
Pray? Yes! Both should walk together, since praying helped to see those lines of God's wisdom.

But, it's also important doing deeds.

I have heard that: "Faith, without deeds, is dead"

Oh!

Don't forget to work a bit. Matt 10:10

That's why our goal should not be to simply read the Bible, but to develop a relationship with Jesus.

Wolfgaming,

If you feel something is harming you spiritually, then it's right to remove that thing.
That's always the right thing to do.

There ARE professionals who give psychology seminars to game developers...
teaching them how to INTENTIONALLY make their games addictive in nature.
The addictive nature of the games IS intentional.

Nonetheless...
not everyone who plays a game has a gaming addiction.

So, we need to be careful to make wise use of our "liberty" in Christ,
but we need to be equally careful we don't take another person's liberty from them.

Galatians 5:1
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

Galatians5:13
"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another."

All SHOULD be. But not obsessed with it. Actually, the more you concentrate on nothing but NOT sinning, the stronger the attraction will become.

I used to watch family guy and sometimes do but there was a scene where the evil baby was reading the bible and was like I love this God fellow so full of anger and wrath he's so deliciously evil. I later learned that many ppl read the ot without even being saved and see this wrath and anger and it affects them differently. some become terrified of God others say I wont serve a God like this!

So yes without an actualy relationship and knowing who he is I wouldnt recommend reading it at least the ot

right we should hate what God hates and love what God loves.
