what's the difference? i want explanations that supposedly religion can help with?

may I suggest that in order to establish your faith you forget the questions concerning the ancient world, answers to which are subject to many variations, and concentrate on what truly matters, the truth about our LORD Jesus Christ.
Consider His life, what He was, how He dealt with those Who would have destroyed Him, how He reached out to men, the wonder of His teachings admired by the great men of all religions, His greatness and yet His supreme humility, why He came, what He showed Himself to be, and what He accomplished through His death and resurrection.
You will not be judged on the basis of your views on Genesis 1-11, you will be judged on your attitude and response to Him.
I do not believe that the Bible teaches that creation only took six days, that the Flood was intended to be seen as universal, that Genesis 1-11 only took two or three thousand years to be accomplished. The Flood may well have tens of thousand of years ago. I cannot, however, go into the details in such a small space.
Leave such questions behind you to be solved later. First study the Gospels in depth. And then make your decision concerning Jesus Christ. For on that, and that alone will depend your eternal destiny.
It is clear to me that your initial need is to see Jesus Christ as God made man and to submit yourself to Him to be your Saviour.

Son, you have absolutely no Idea what I can provide because all you have done up to now has been to adopt a defensive posture and you are not about to let anyone in to upset you applecart again.
good, that's a start. you have not been immersed in yahshua's name, and you're not saved yet. (whatever group you started in has lied to you all of your life)
(those who think they are saved already and don't want help are the only ones that JESUS cannot help at all.)
Are you approaching it from the attitude of, "Prove it!" or from the desire to honestly gain insight? I suspect it just might be a little of the former.
I encourage you to always ask the tough questions. God is well pleased with those who take their faith seriously, and there's nothing more serious than struggling with it. Jesus said there will be moments of doubt so be at peace and know that God understands and will strengthen your faith if you ask.
On another note, I experienced a true miracle whereby the hand of God was literally upon me. I'll be glad to pm you and share it with you if you'd like. Hang in there. You'll be fine.

where in the Bible does it say species, it says kind. If you look into it using science...do you remember genetics in school and the square for figuring out what traits offspring will have? There is plenty of evidence to support the ark too, just seeing one side wont help.

MrGone...believe when I say, that you will never believe because you will not give God one hundred percent of your heart and faith! I promise if you did this, The Holy Spirit would come into your life. You would feel God, and God would let you see and know He is real! But when you spend more time doubting, than accepting Him into your life, you are going to continue disagreeing with Christians! We are Christians because we feel, and know God is real! Case closed for me...I'm praying for people...that's all I can do.
