at church we do this thing....maybe not all churches do...
but we have a time of confession? (not out loud publicly, but...)

this morning we heard these words:

And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!” (Is 6:5)

and then the life giving words:

The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil. (Zeph 3:15)

maybe it's old fashioned, or quirky, but i am always blessed. :)

Dear Father In Heaven

So thankful that our young sister didn't break anything but I ask that You please bring healing to her quickly and that bruises and pain would go quickly as our sweet sister helps so many others and has school to attend too. Thank You for having Your angels protect her from further harm and damage. Help her recover quickly I pray in Jesus Name Amen.
