He is Wonderful God who is giving breath to every living thing at this very moment…

He is Almighty God who is spinning this earth we’re standing on this very moment…

He is King of Kings Who the angels in glory are singing, “Holy Holy Holy!” to at this very moment because He is that Holy…

He is the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, He has triumphed, triumphs now and will always triumph because He is the Beginning and the End of all things…

He is the Great Shepherd and is keeping His sheep right this moment, because He will not lose any of His own…

He is Mighty Counselor Who put His Holy Spirit in you and is directing and guiding you at this very moment…

Even if you doubt the Lord Jesus, He remains faithful because He can’t deny Who He is. Jesus Christ is Lord and He reigns in you no matter what doubts or fears you have.

You cannot fall away from God because His Holy Spirit is in you right now and will be forever.

lol, just don't watch the craziness on black friday....I know someone who saw someone sleeping in a cart and the cart getting rammed and tipping over....that is when the manners really go into hiding....lol

Please forgive us. Around Christmas, I was in Walmart when I heard my sister's voice behind me. Without thinking, I turned around and grabbed the lady behind me and gave her a big hug. While I was doing it I saw my sister behind the woman laughing, all I could do was apologize to the lady. She said that I could be her brother any time.

Black Friday is deer stand day. Usually come in around 10 for a snack and a nap, then return to the stand about 2.

I'm relieved to know that the pharisaical legalists debating law in the BDF are arguing among themselves and being led by a spammer, not someone actually seeking truth. At least they're causing no harm to anyone else with their nonsense and leaving us alone to fellowship and encourage one another.

I emailed the Admin and he said we have nothing to worry about as long as we don't click on any links the spammers post in the threads. So if you don't know someone, don't click on any links they post. Any new people you aren't familiar with, don't exchange private email addresses or click on anything they post.

Ok.. let me drop the subject of spammers now. :)

The hubby is outback again and this time spraying for ticks. We found two ticks on the dog. eww.gif

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for him to come in so I can feed him. I'm starvatin'.

Spicy chicken and rice burritos. Even typing it makes me hungry.

I didn't see any links. I must be blind. :p I even passes my mouse over the area and found none on post.

Anyhoo, a spammer/troll would be a real person sometimes just posting something to whip up the masses. And maybe they reply to questions with more questions. Or not, if they're busy trying to avoid appearing as one when being called out. It could be they've moved on to another area or even a different site to stir things up there. Other times, people just want attention by asking what seems to be a valid question. They know the answers already and could be just wasting people's time.

A bot is a malicious program posting with nonsense sent on a path from someone somewhere off in cyberland. So a bot doesn't answer back coherently. But if it continued to post, that would still appear as gibberish or off topic from what the real member posted in reply.

okay then, enough about the spammer/troll or bot stuff from me too

This has been going on more than usual here lately.....must be Troll Season or something. Some have been done away with, some are still lurking and come out for an occasional strike, and a couple are very active. Funny how it goes in cycles, much like the concept of Global Warming...........but Global Trolling?

Now and again, I'll throw a wee bit in the pot just to see how they respond.......sometimes it's entertaining, but then I see some good people getting caught up in the mess and that makes me sad. The worst are the ones who appear to be so sincere, and tug at the heart strings of believers here with a sob story........usually they are between the ages of 16 and 20, can be either male or female, from most anywhere, but they always post concerning "Hot Button" issues for Christians. Issues that are sure to draw comments. And we have several good hearted folks who will sincerely answer their posts never knowing they are being duped, well until it becomes apparent to all........but, by then, they have expended their emotional support/advice to the person to no avail.

I know the argument is, "Hey, planting seeds" 'n' such, but to be honest, planting seeds on dry rocky soil is a waste of labor, even Jesus spoke of this. Hopefully they will begin to tire of their games and give us all a much deserved break.

I have so many things I would love to post to discuss concerning Scripture, but if I put them on the BDF, what's the point? We all know how that will end.........sigh........and the Miscellaneous Forum really isn't for that, although there are a few of late using the Miscellaneous Forum just to avoid the majority of the usual suspects on the BDF. I don't mind, and rather enjoy the discussion, but always worry that Admin might tire of me/us doing that.

Anyway, having the BDF in the mess it is really, really takes away from the value of CC for me. Honestly, I would far more prefer to be discussing Scripture than the jesting I am habitually involved in now. When sincere Bible Study is taken away from us by the usual suspects, what else is left?
