In response to others that give accolades to this show. It is nothing more than liberals tearing down christianity and making believers out to be insecure dolts that believe in magic. "Sheldon's" mom is a "christian" that has an affair and there is more jabs at Christ than Cassius Clay threw at Larry Holmes. (look it up, for you youngsters)

The tall guy, Sheldon in the show does not portray a homosexual. His character is a high functioning genius with autism and OCD. (Although he is a homosexual in real life!)

The show does poke a lot of fun at Christians. However, it also pokes fun at Hindus, Jews and atheists/humanists. In fact, every episode where Sheldon's Texas Bible belt mom is on, mom comes out far ahead in winning the debates with Sheldon.

It used to be quite funny, but I think in the last few years they have run out of original material. The funny parts for me are the Science Fiction and science references. But JesusLives will be happy to hear they also poke fun at blondes, too. And a smart Ph.D blonde is also in the cast.

They only thing they don't seem to mock is Muslims. I wonder why?

I'm back from my physiotherapy appointment. I am losing a lot of muscle tone, so he had me stretching and strengthening. What a battle! But feeling a lot better and a lot more hopeful about walking and riding my bike again after today. I'm glad he took me seriously.

I read a really good article on homosexuality today on FB. By John Piper's organization. The gist is that homosexuality is sin, just like any other sin. BUT, it is the only sin openly promoted as a lifestyle. But that we are to love gays, but that repentance is needed.

And one day, we will not be tempted by sin anymore, when Jesus returns! And that applies to us all.

Sorry you guys are getting rain and storms. We have has so much here this year. But, PRAISE GOD, for the last three days we have had bright sunshine...........now...........understand............this too will pass.........sigh........gonna start to rain tomorrow evening, and then Friday through Sunday I think.

Blue, send your rain to the interior of BC. We haven't had rain since February, which means the forest fire danger is already going up and up!

I want to stay here, and not have to escape somewhere to where I can breathe. And I would also like it if my house doesn't burn down. In 2004, many of the houses in this area burned to the ground in a forest fire. Something to really scare me!

I have seen a couple of them, but never thise way (I counted 4 rainbows, at least). Possibly there were more, behind those trees.
