We all dream to have beautiful homes. " Home is the place where your heart lives in" Now speaking of houses, what design would you want to have for your whole life?

Speak your mind.

What fits you!??? but I am certainly sure there is a design in your mind.
No, not really. At one time, I wanted a tree house. Later, I craved a sea view... then, it was a mountain cabin. I'm old now, so it has to be smaller than I once envisioned, and one-story.

Primarily, "location" is of importance, both geographically and esthetically.

I'm a lot less bothered about having the perfect house these days. :)

No matter how nice it looks, further down the line it will need re-decorating, maintenance, things wear out,
things will need re-plastering, carpets get ruined, furnishings wear out etc etc. You are never really finished with a house.

If you happen to live with an elderly person as I do, then rooms can also need a complete rethink, like ripping
out that nice bath and installing a wet floor shower, putting up hand rails everywhere, turning the walk in
cupboard into a downstairs toilet etc etc.

These days the perfect house is not really a priority anymore for me.

So you are indifference, well said. I like your idea.

I bought a colonial because we couldn't find the sprawling Ranch my wife and I really wanted.

The house plan I dream about (I actually have one picked out online) has 4 bedrooms, each with it's own full bath and walk in closet, a huge kitchen with an island and walk in pantry, half bath and utility room next to the kitchen, dining room, family room and living room, and a big screened porch across the back. Sounds so nice after being crammed into 980 sq feet with four people and three bedrooms, and one bathroom.

I used to make custom houses in The Sims game and they were really like my dream homes, but I don't have any pics of them and they were on my old computer. The closest I've seen in real life would be something like this..

Well, there are two styles that I love one being a wood cabin and then the other is a ranch style farmhouse. The thing I really want in a house is a huge gourmet kitchen, but with family making it be a home with music and laughter.

I'm really into gingerbread houses. Imagine coming home after a long day of work and having your home smell like gingerbread and sugar?
Plus I've heard that gingerbread holds really well against heavy rain and hail. :p

I'm going with Underwater Ocean Hotel. That's correct, a first of its kind. I want to live at the Underwater Ocean Hotel while I manage and work there. Location is a question but maybe near Puerto Rico.

Since I'm single at the moment, I wouldn't mind getting into this tiny house movement:
