Why hasn't Christ come yet?

in Revelation it's right there in english ....
(and in context)

all of the persecuted ekklesia (the underground church) , the living abiding in jesus believers, know it
both
in GOD'S WORD and SPIRIT, and experience it in living HIS LIFE now, today, on earth....

I have read Revelation...more than once. Your bible must be different from mine. Just tell me the chapter and verse. It's there, according to you, so that surely isn't too much to ask? Shouldn't you be willing to enlighten someone who sincerely seeks knowledge?

Things are getting worse every day. They will continue to until we as a people get off our ass's and do something about it the right way. Getting angry and making stupid decisions that make government more powerful and the gp poorer ain't working.

Back to the subject at hand. My theory is that God( Jesus is not coming back until we are no longer to ignorant to recognize God (Jesus). God forgave us for that once already. God has given us a chance to fix our mistake. I think that when all one God religions combine God can return. We all do worship one God. There is right and wrong in all of these religions. I for one think Christians are closest to right or I wouldn't be one. The others are not all wrong either. They do after all worship one God. Just what I think. I'm just as ignorant as everyone else. Wish I know too.

I ask this almost daily. It seems incredible the mayhem, murder, and perversion of men in this world. Men are incredibly evil..............and then I read something like this.
This woman, and those like her, are the reason for His delay. He is still gathering His flock. Even so, surely it won't be long.

have you read the New Testament yet because your answer is in there.

This is one question you ask that you really should not be wasting your energy on for we will never know he is coming until he is upon us.
He will come like a thief in the night, so if you aren't prepared for him to come tonight then GET PREPARED now and you will have no worries.

God is a God of “times and seasons” . He times all matters. He has the ability to look through the stream of time and bring an end to wickedness at the right and best time for all eternity.!!(Proverbs 3:5,6)

That works for some. But many who don't believe they're going to see the poop hit the fan aren't going to be ready for when the poop hits the fan. And these are going to be the ones Christ spoke of in Matthew 24:10. So yeah, having some clue about when He will return may change the way some live and prepare for it. It might even save their eternal lives!

we don't all worship the one true God. most people on earth worship demons (or didn't you bother to read or listen to Revelation, and the rest of the NT?) and they refuse to stop worshiping demons(over 2 billion, maybe over 5 billion people) ....

God doesn't look for nor give us theories. His Word is True. rcc is heresy. other religions are forbidden by Him for His people to study or get involved in, according to HIS WORD (THE BIBLE).

If people are needing to wait until things get worse to live differently for Christ or to accept Him altogether, I would question whether they are truly sincere to begin with.

It's called thinking out of the box. Jeff. I know for a fact that Jew's, Hondo's and bidist's all worship one God.The same God we worship. They just do it a little differently. One positive thing about both Hindo's and Botist's is that they are taulerent (so) of other religions. Obviously you aren't even taoleremt in your own. Get a grib man!!!!!

I will tell you once again, since some of you only count posts, instead of actually reading them. It is not my place to tell you, or anyone else, that I am a Christian. If I have to tell you for you to know, I probably ain't one.
Christ is the only one that I care about thinking I am Christian. Doesn't matter what my opinion on the subject is because I'm not going to be sitting in judgement of myself on that day. I put unsure to compel each one that wonders to make up their own mind. Me telling you doesn't make me one. Many, many people claiming to be christian that I don't want to be associated with. I don't believe in lip service, and going about proclaiming myself a christian is just that.

If you had bothered to click on the link and read it, you would have realized it was a rhetorical question. I am quite familiar with the word and I am also quite familiar with the fact that Christ will not tarry. Some of the others that have replied on this thread understand that. I am somewhat puzzled that it was difficult for you to see.

This has always puzzled me. Could you, or someone who also believes this way, please explain what more than accepting Christ has to be done to "be ready" for the day He returns? Do we have to have earned a certain number of merit badges? Or, pack a suitcase? Or say a certain number of "Hail Mary" prayers or of the "Our Fathers?"

it is in english.. . (true, it is better in hebrew and in arabic, and maybe in greek.... ) but all you need is english.
