A conspiracy indeed. This is their effort in trying to dumb down the nation, by taking away brain food! Then they brain wash us with dancing roast chicken.

It's a scary world, I say.
You are right. It is time we all stood up for what is rightfully ours. But I digress..

That looks like an amazing pie! Ah, that's another thing Americans do so well, pies! I think Australians are well known for pavlovas and lamingtons, but lamingtons are pretty basic and aren't that great.

I will admit, though, Tim Tams are pretty amazing. I'm lactose intolerant but I will ruin my stomach lining for some of those.
We have a cafe here which serve Pavlova. I have heard enough about it to want to try it at least once. The problem with me is that I don't have a sweet tooth. So I prefer to not have desserts... except custards, puddings and ice creams.

Olerica: I vote for lemon curd.

And... did you say savory cheesecakes? You gotta talk to Shouryu. (He's the guy with the red horse with a hat in his avatar.) He's big on savory cheesecakes.
Maybe Shouryu needs to talk to me. ;)

I love pavlova, but almost no one here has ever had one and they don't understand it. (What's to understand? Meringue, GOOD. Whipped cream, GOOD. Fruity sauce, GOOD!) In fact, I'm making one for an event later this month with lemon curd or rhubarb curd if I can find rhubarb by then.

I don't know what a lamington is... please share a recipe?
I don't exactly know what lamingtons are made of, but I know they're essentially sponge cake sliced into a cube, dunked into melted chocolate and then dunked into coconut. Lamingtons aren't crazy-awesome like Tim Tams are, but they still taste good.

Awesome, Tintin. I think I've had something similar (once upon a time). I don't think I know what a TimTam is but...

Today is red denims day. There's something about red denims when they are paired with a light shirt and a nice pair of shoes.

Incidentally, I am wearing a similar shoe to this guy. But I've got a white shirt. Yay! I feel so colourful!

It used to be when I heard the phrase/verse, "The wages of sin is death," I always thought it was just talking about our spiritual death. When you think about it, though...it isn't. The wages for our sin is death, and Jesus had to pay it by dying a physical death (and resurrecting) so we wouldn't die a spiritual death. But it's starting to become more and more evident on WHY the wages of sin is death, and why it's not just our own personal death that's involved in that equation...

Late night ramblings for ya. Feel free to ignore.

I kinda like this look but I keep wondering why his legs are so short v. his torso. Then I want to tell him to pull up his pants.

(Man, I'm old. PULL UP YOUR PANTS, ya whippersnapper. I still don't understand super low rise pants. )

I am someone who wears his pants a bit low. Not super low, but just a bit low. Since I am slim (and short), it makes my torso look proportional.

But I agree, super low rise pants are a public nuisance. And I wonder how they stride wearing that.

Most of the "guests" are forum-crawling bots. They look for emails, phone numbers, anything they can use to spam advertisements at you. That's one of the really good reasons to not post personal stuff on a forum.

Do bots get registered as anonymous guests? wow, that is something I didn't know. :)

You need not be registered to be a guest. Just don't sign in. Read the forum without logging in and you are a "guest."

The bots in question are computer programs that read a bunch of forums, continually loading page after page, scanning for anything that looks like something an advertiser can use to reach you with ads.

While this goes on, I think that some of the guest are people who are legitimately curious about the site, or Christianity itself. Maybe they think if they register, they will get Bible-thumped, and are only comfortable with having guest status for now.

I really don't know why I'm listening to Bono right now, lol.

ITS A BEAUTIFUL DAI.
SKY FULLS OF FELINES.
Don't let it give a weigh.
On the road
Got no desperation
In your pie.
With a ham filled imagination.
If I didn't ring true.
It's a beautiful weigh.
Don't let the fish get away.

It's been a nice day. Really, it has been. I'm finding that learning and studying subjects I have interest in really make me feel more productive, and not like I'm just sitting around doing nothing. I learn more about me, God, and other areas. Maybe I won't do so bad in college.

I want a nap so much. I so much want to close my eyes and drift. Alas, I have made a commitment and I shall fulfill it.
