So, I might be getting another dog. Because I'm crazy. And because I think my pup would love a playmate. She tries to play with the cats but they just aren't really keen on it.
2's company! :D My house has always been a 2 dog house. I love it. We've been a one-cat 2-dog house since June. I love it even more. I really would get another cat if I was going to be around to take care of it.

I used to think of stereotypes as a sort of generalized caricature, but with L.A being the cultural smorgasbord that it is, the various ethnicities here really live up to them. 3OPsGUMW_bigger.jpeg

P.S. Hi Rachel.

I read some things in there... and feel sickened sometimes. I typically run away (and avoid that area).
I only venture in there when I am craving an argument or fight. Yeah, I'm weird.

Gelato is what they put on the topping of cakes to get the glazed look, nu?

Or is that gelatin?

It can't be gelatin....

gelato is italian-style ice cream.

traditional "american style" tends to utilize a custard base, gelato (usually) doesn't. it's rich, but in a lighter, silkier texture (with a lower fat/cream ratio), with less air incorporated into it, compared to the american style. : )

as a result, flavors have a different, more bold flavor in a gelato base, vs. "american style" ice cream.

p.s. that pistachio flavor is divine!!!

Gelato sounds delicious. I need to try it sometime. I will beg to differ with pistachios that doesn't even sound good. I suppose it may be an acquired taste.

In some ways, I've really changed how I look at people. In some ways...I'm still the same.

I'm finding it's much easier to look upon an unrighteous person who doesn't know Jesus with grace.

It's the Christians who are basically put on a pedestal. Everybody knows one. There's always that ONE person that you know that EVERYONE loves and adores, they have all these opportunities coming their way, they're the ones who have the all the friends, including the friends who's friends with that one celebrity and they get to hang with that celeb. They're the ones that get the opportunities you wish you had. They're Christian of the year. Yet, they're still so immature...

But when Jesus said to love your neighbor he didn't just mean the people who live next door (which...that's actually kind of hard too. She's a either this super sweet old lady or she's cranky and demanding). Pretty sure he meant everyone...gah.

I just gotta remember, look on them with grace, regardless. I can't judge. I don't REALLY know their lives.

As you can see, God's really kickin' me in the butt for this. -_-

Yes, I've had that before. It's no fun. Actually, when I was five years old, there was a particularly bad infestation of mosquitoes at my grandparent's place. There were no screens on the windows and they were wide open. During the night, my face became so mosquito-bitten that there wasn't a smooth patch to be seen. Also, my eyelids were so puffed up with their poison that I couldn't see and I could barely breathe through my nostrils. Horrific stuff. So, yeah. I hate mosquitoes.

Lynx. Right. I'll be sure to tell all of the eligible girls here at CC that you're single and waiting. ;)

I won't be able to see my chiropractor until next week. *sigh* Until then...I dunno what I'm gonna do. I'm trying to walk every day, but I dunno if walking a bunch is good for my back right now....

It is, or so I've heard from another chiropractor. The best thing you can do for it is stretch it out. Look into somatic exercises, or any movement therapy for that matter. There are some very basic ones you can do that won't be an immediate fix, but they may help (they might be a fix if used long enough).

I want to go into the Bible Forum and post random gifs in various threads. Ya know, hardcore troll, but have the gifs kinda make sense.
