Hello everyone!

I'm having the worst day ever. I woke up at 2:30 am in shock, turns out my body had gone into a severe RA flare.I've been taking pain meds and too much prednisone. My knees and elbows look like giant, hot balloons.

Hubby has been loading me into the wheelchair to get me to the bathroom, about 15 steps from the bed. He hurt his back doing it. I feel badly about it.

Monday, I see my rheumatologist, hopefully I can start a new med and get this disease under control. (Please, no herbal suggestions. It was a herbal remedy that made my liver enzymes go crazy high, so I had to go off my new drug 2 weeks ago. Besides, I have really tried them all, and I didn't even get placebo effect out of them.)

On a good note, my lungs and sinus infection really seem to be cleared up.

Prayers really needed for the next few days. And prayers for you and your mom, jsr1221!
I pray for you Angela! I love you. Please God ease Angela's pain...and make her well for You are with us thru all pain dear Jesus...I love You!

sigh...oh Lord! Glad to be home! 2) Many in society are embociles 3) a vulgar hairy man decided to sit his lawn chair next to mine and dig his poison ivy all night long 4) this is the second outdoor event in this town I have been to and people are offensive round these parts...sigh...I don't like it much round here 5) Forget these outdoor events with belching sasquatches, and vulgar women that stare at me mean with tube tops and hateful dispositions...(ugh...as if I want their husband) and lol defenitltly if I do go out its only to a museum, theatre, library, dinner, mall etc....These outdoor events, some people act so vile! I'm thru with these people! Sorry cmarieh to vent....lol...probably wish u never asked me though. But praise God...some people I pray for because...lots in the world just don't care for others. Sigh...but I got onion rings...so it wasn't as bad as it seemed. :)...sad though...I used to enjoy outdoor functions. :) thank you cmarieh!

You have no reason to apologize. I completely understand where you are coming from. It is hard going anywhere without seeing that type of behavior. It saddens my heart to see this because none of them know of God's love and that it is everything they could ever want in life. I just pray pray for them that one day they get to experience it. This example is one of the main reasons why I have already decided that I do not want my future children in the public school system and would be blessed to teach them at home. That is when God reveals who my future husband will be. Love you, Sky

Lol...you know when we get in situations like I was tonight. I can hear God saying...yea you would of enjoyed staying home more in your room reading or sketching. :)... I love being social...but indoor public functions are for me around this area anyway. I'm not crazy for it all around here...people just act senseless in public. I like our library though and there's a quiet little coffee shop here. Lol...Oh God gives me strength in good humor...so I'm home now...and can laugh off a horrible nite. Lol...but I must say when that man itching his poison ivy all night beside me, was flirting with me ewww...my daughter gave me this look......lol well she didn't go to this extreme...but still! :)

There is definitely no place like home. I love being cuddled up in my fuzzy socks with a throw blanket, oh and of course one of my cats is always right next to me.:)

Today is a day to show appreciation for all of you "mom's" out there and so this update on my friends I requested prayer for will be brief. And the news is not good. Marlene was given a short window of life expectancy just two days after I was present with my friend when the docs originally informed him that there was still hope for her and more time than was previously suggested. Naturally, it was a staggering blow for them to receive hope only to have it vanquished again just days later. But, this is what it is .. and ours is to trust that God remains in control in spite of any circumstance. And trusting in His goodness and love for us is what I continue to do. This situation has availed me much opportunity to share the gospel message with my friend Gary this past week keeping in mind that we are to sow .. and our Heavenly Father is He who waters. I am reminded of the following and rest in the sure promises of He Who is faithful and whose love and mercy is abundantly adequate to meet our every need both in this life .. and in our eternal hope for that which is to come. To Him be the praise and glory forever and ever, Amen. It's nice to see you all again :)

Isaiah 55:9-11

[SUP]9 [/SUP]“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
[SUP]11 [/SUP]so is My word that goes out from My mouth:
It will not return to Me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
