Good morning peeps :)

been a crazy couple of days, storms headed our way once again... But pppsshhhh... This is Oklahoma spring weather, I'm used to it by now. But I'm not so fond of the flooding of roads and such. :-/

but anywhoo.... I don't think anyone missed me, but I'm alive. :)
You know that I miss seeing you on here, but I know you have been crazy busy.

Hmm!

Since I´m a hermit, I prefer the free and downloadable Arena

Arena Chess GUI 3.5 - Welcome to Arena
I am on chess.com. I will have to look up the other 2. I like chess, but have not played in a while, the ones I played against stopped playing.

That reminds me of a children's story I wrote when my daughter was little. She's grown and off to college now! I miss writing children's stories! :)

I will agree to disagree with you. I know that when you Google medication or symptoms you find yourself worrying about every little thing. However, it is very smart to know exactly what medication you will be on before you pick it up and decide if you want to put that in your body.

well... i kind of disagree with that. i think it depends upon your medical knowledge (helps to know what some of those things indicate and reveal as well as your own ability to understand that most symptoms and diseases will indicate the most benign of conditions and results to the absolute scariest and a lot of red herrings.

for me, it's been incredibly helpful in research and proactivity to have more information at your fingertips. just don't have a coronary when you read it. : )

p.s. i think the WORST thing is the pharmacuetically-driven commercials now. we're living in an age where people are walking into doctor's offices and asking for drugs by name for conditions they don't have. *shakes head*
I saw your response from front page and I didnt want to come into more personal threads, but I had to when I read this,

Dont listen to your doctors in all things, they not only mistakes as anyone of us but they lie (just as anyone of us can). My doctor said the same thing. And had I have googled sooner (what he was missing) I could have probably saved my own daughters life. I found out through a google search she was dying half an hour before she actually did and the keyword searches at the medical website were more helpful and right on then the doctor.

Also, had I googled the meds I was prescribed (one of which was wrongly prescribed by itself by the same doctor my daughter died under) and two others (in combination) for back pain from the VA I would have save myself from nightmares I cant possibly put into words (all three times).

Wrong diagnosis, wrong drugs (nightmare withdrawls) and bad drug combinations.

Now I dont trust doctors at all. You might hear that from me from time to time because of these things. And not just because they made a mistake, or even that they had lied to me but multitudes of them through which I have suffered and they treat you as some kind of imbecile after you have educated yourself on their errors (which are no secret) and would diss the internet which would have spared my daughter and myself from them every time?

Thats why I jumped on here, let your doctor will hate google, but it could save someone you love and save you as well (cross checking them). In all four instances of mine (had I just took the time to look the internet pulls through where the doctors had failed. Its no wonder they will tell you to stay away from it (ir can be a great crosschecker).

You should always research your stuff (if you are able) had I have done so I could have likely saved not only myself from those three internal experiences, but our daughter might be with us today.

Four times in one household (in less then 5 years) is not an isolated incident. Thats messed up.

But people dont take it as seriously (just as I didnt either) until an experience (or two) or three or four (as was in my case) happens to them too. It sort of freaks you out at how common these things happen.

But I did find more reliable information out there then what two doctors gave and heard other testimony of doctors saying the same to others concerning side effects on the internet which I knew they were telling the truth because they were confirming mine, and after telling the doctor that same thing, they say its hogwash.

So I quit doctors, only go for pain if I absolutely cannot bear it, outside of that I want nothing to do with them, if its my time, its my time, "see you later" is what I say, and they are the ones that fostered my outlook on them.

But dont believe them, dont give any man that much of your trust, and doubt any doctor who loves an uneducated patient. Thats like the RCC in that time when the heads thereof would rather you not own or read the scriptures, and we all know that was to keep you in the dark.

Forgive the long post but I didnt want you to ever give up your power to any man priest or doctor who would have you in the dark concerning the things which should concern you is all.

Anyway (sorry bout the interuption)

And I need to find Pyshomom and tell her I am in love with the hiddn in my heart collection, I love lullabys but hers were the best I heard and Im so hooked on them, I ordered them online lol

God bless Peace
When I said never google it, that is what I meant. I didn't say don't be informed or do your own research. Just googling it is not the best idea. Do you all know the algorithm for google searches? There are a lot of bad websites out there. I prefer to look up information on websites I know I can trust. Just googling something can be as bad depending on what it is as just trusting a doctor.
I am sorry that I did not make my point clearer. I am a very literal person and don't read between the lines. I meant just what I said, don't rely on just what pops up on google. I have before, and the website I found through google was not accurate even though it appeared to be. So if you do search for info that way, be careful.
