Reborn is an unbeliever from his speech and his lies about me and others. He has no peace with himself nor with God, apparently, and finds comfort only in attacking and lying about others.

I am not coming at you in any way, and I am not bending scripture to fit anything as that one from James 5:19-20 is clear cut in what it says. It says clearly that a person who wanders from the truth, which that would be the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ, and one turns them back to Christ their soul will be saved from death.

Men can not kill the soul, they can only kill the body.
The only One who can kill/destroy the soul is God Himself by casting them in the lake of fire. Matthew 10:28 and Luke 12:5 clearly state this.

Jeff is not my boy and like I said I am not defending him, but defending clear scripture from the bible that shows obedience, actions, and how one speaks all goes hand and hand with salvation. Because if one is saved with the Holy Spirits guidance then the fruits of the Spirit will be evident through them.

If Jeff has said nasty and awful things to women then he needs to be rebuked for it, and he needs to apologize.
Yet I see the same issue you and others are having with Jeff that I have had with Dconn, E.G., and Sirk. Somebody demeaning or making false accusations on another and not apologizing for it..............

I love all the people here and I do know they all love God with everything they are and their relationship with him is just between them and God. Just like your relationship with Jesus is just between you and him. They are all my family and I am extremely protective of them. Just please love them as the bible instructs us to and that love will go a long way. May God Bless you Brother.

Anyways, to get down to business:

Well, I do not believe I do any kind of righteousness on my own behalf alone. I believe in God's righteousness working in my life. So if such is the case: Is there such a thing as having too much of God's righteousness or goodness in a person's life? Yes, I am sure that is not what you are saying, though. But I do look at the Word of God and plainly believe it just as you believe you do. I cannot unlearn what I believe I have been taught by the Spirit; And I do not believe I have gone beyond what the Word of God actually says (Which would be a problem if one is being overly righteous from a man made kind of way). You would have to show me exactly where I stated a belief that is not in line with God's Word (for that to be true). For I do not believe in Works Salvationism. I do not believe the Law of Moses is in effect anymore. I believe God works in me. I believe the New Covenant Commands are what we are supposed to uphold (by Christ working in us). I believe the new birth, love, and the Lord is what leads us into paths of righteousness for his name's sake. For I am not seeking my own glory. No, no. Most certainly not. I am nothing. Christ is everything. I am just a clay jar fitted for the master's use.



1 John 1:9 is one my all time favorite verses. It was a verse that leaped out my Bible when I first started to read it. It's a promise that anyone can bank on. It's so true. It's so simple. It makes sense. It's beautiful. It is at it's heart... love. For simply our admittance to our shame or sin, we can be forgiven of our sin and cleansed of any and all unrighteousness. This is obviously not in any way like the priest confessional like in the Catholic church. No, no. Most certainly not. This is taking one's sins to the only mediator between God the Father and man. This is a type of confession where somebody confesses with a Godly sorrow and not a worldy sorrow.

As for the rest of the 1st epistle of John: It is simply chocked full of great nuggets of truth that will knock someone side ways if they are simply willing to listen and hear what it says.

I pray so much that folks here who cannot see that, to one day be awaken to such truth (To the glory of the Lord).

What I mean by you go overly righteous on is when you go and start placing a bunch of different sins as unforgivable when the bible says no such thing. The bible says the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin, and all others can and will be forgiven. Now I know the bible shows more then one way this can be done, but they all are connected to being done to the Holy Spirit.
Lying to, grieving Him, denying Him and His power, denying His gifts, and not walking according to the faith/His guidance.

Taking and placing any other sins as unforgivable is unbiblical and comes from one's own righteousness/pride and not from the Spirit.

Plus one must like I said before know the difference between one who has committed a certain sin like murder once or twice in their life and then truly repented, and one who continues to do (practice) it without repentance.
Like I said before as an example, if a person murdered somebody in 1985 and then repented of it, then they will be saved unto eternal life through Christ just as you and me. But if they never repent of it then they won't be saved.........

I have been demeaned, belittled, and even had condemning remarks made toward me by 3 members on here constantly, and have yet to receive an apology from either of them. In return though I have constantly showed them God's love through me, and continued to point out to them where they are in the wrong as the bible instructs us to do. So that we can show them where they need to work on and change, helping them in their walk.
If they refuse there is not much more we can do, and even though the bible says to dust our feet off and keep moving and not associate with them any more. I still have an issue of leaving a fellow brethren lost in a sinful way.....
