You are not Saved until you know and worship God as Triune.

Any 'feeling' of being Saved before this comprehension is a false trigger...

So how did that work for everyone before and after the new covenant, since the Holy Spirit was not given or known until Pentecost?

Any 'feeling' of being Saved before this comprehension is a false trigger...

How does this work when Romans 10.9-10 say that salvation is based upon confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead?

How can you state "worshiping" God in any form of God saves you? Saying this is no different than idol worship.
God does not save you through worship, you are saved by grace, through your faith.

I don't think the reasoning behind this particular question works. To play devil's advocate, what of the OT patriarchs? Did they not die before Jesus was born? What of their salvation?

I wonder if the thief on the cross knew that Jesus was God in the flesh?

Luke 23:39-43 (KJV)
39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

What do you think "paradise" here is in reference to? Did Jesus ascend to the Father the day he died?

Maybe it was not worded jsut right, bit bowman insists that we worship the triune God to be saved.

My questions is this: How did that work before the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost?

we are saved by grace through faith in jesus christ...but the question is...-which- jesus?

there are many versions of 'jesus' in the world...there is the secularized non miraculous jesus who never rose from the dead...or there is the muslim jesus who was merely a human prophet who preached the same thing as muhammad...or there is the view of sympathetic buddhists that jesus was a bodhisattva...or there is the theosophical jesus who was an 'ascended master'...or there was the marcionist jesus who was sent to redeem the fallen world that marcion blamed on an incompetent yahweh...

there is only one jesus who can save...and he happens to be a person of the triune God...

This question speaks of one Jesus the one who can save us from sin and death. Rachel because i have some knowledge of your rserach not everyone has that search for truth. Some accept that like I did without other religion influences. Howevre at my coming to Jesus for salvation my understanding was not that he is God but the Son of God. Down the road as I read more I began to understand that Jesus is God and Holy Spirit is God.

all Israel worshipped haelohim.

Nope.

The OT prophets tell an entirely different story.

but it was used with a singular verb because it was a plural of majesty. They had no concept of triunity. Perhaps you should study up lol

'Plural of Majesty' never existed anywhere in the Ancient Near East (ANE), including Biblical Hebrew.

Try again...

So how did that work for everyone before and after the new covenant, since the Holy Spirit was not given or known until Pentecost?

In the OT, The Holy Spirit was known as:

· The Ruach of Elohim ‘Spirit of God’ (Gen 1.2)
· The Ruach of Yahweh ‘Spirit of Yahweh’ (Gen 6.3)

Etc, etc...

How does this work when Romans 10.9-10 say that salvation is based upon confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead?

Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.(Romans 10.9)

Who raised Jesus from the dead?

· God the Father… Acts 3.26; Eph 1.15-20; Gal 1.1; 1 Thes 1.9-10

· God the Son…John 2.19-22; 10.17-18; Romans 6.4

· God the Spirit…Romans 8.11; 1 Peter 3.18

· The Trinity…Romans 10.9; Peter 1.20-21; Hebrews 13.20-21; 1 Cor 6.14; Col 2.11-12; Acts 2.23-24; 2.32; 3.14-15; 13.30-37

Thus…you will be saved if you believe in The Triune God, as revealed in scripture.

Simple, Biblical truth.

For everyone, "whoever may worship the name Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)

And we are told that the ‘name’ is one and the same for Father, Son & Spirit.

What version are using for Romans 10.13?
In almost every version Romans 10.13 states:
[SUP]13 [/SUP]for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"

He most certainly does!

And it shall be that everyone who shall worship the name Lord will be saved." (Acts 2.21)

Why are you willfully using false scriptures to prove yourself:

Acts 2.21 says:
‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

I did some checking apple7, you seem to be lying to others as well over on theologyonline.com and also falsifying scriptures.

Either show us the version or sound scholarship on why you are inserting worship for the word calls in these verses or I will report you for falsifying the word.

Consult the Greek before you cast stones...lest you debase yourself...

'Calling upon' is the same as 'worship' for the Greek word 'epikalesētai'...

A quick search in strongs shows there is no greek word for worship used in the Bible with the greek word epikalesētai

The Greek word for calling upon is epikaleō

It is formed by the preposition epi and the verb kaleō.

It means:

  1. to put a name upon, to surname
    1. to permit one's self to be surnamed
  2. to be named after someone
  3. to call something to one
    1. to cry out upon or against one
    2. to charge something to one as a crime or reproach
    3. to summon one on any charge, prosecute one for a crime
    4. to blame one for, accuse one of
  4. to invoke
    1. to call upon for one's self, in one's behalf
      1. any one as a helper
      2. as my witness
      3. as my judge
      4. to appeal unto
  5. to call upon by pronouncing the name of Jehovah
    1. an expression finding its explanation in the fact that prayers addressed to God ordinarily began with an invocation of the divine name

He most certainly does!
