.....so I'm gonna backslide. I'm gonna start tithing to the local hireling and sit quietly in the pew. I promise I'll make that awesome man my focal point of adoration.
Im gonna start making sure the poor and the widows are coughing up their tithes. If they are hurting financially, well, sucks to be them.
I'm gonna start using profanity and learn some bodily function jokes so I can fit in at the church dinners.
I'm gonna start watching all the latest movies with scenes that use to insult my conscience....I'll get over it...I promise.
I promise I'll never ever again question the powers that be or bother to search the scriptures to make sure all that pours forth from the pulpit is gospel.
I Promise to submit to and obey the man who is exalted above the sheep.
Im just tired of being alone while everyone hurls insults at me for bringing forth the truth of His word to bear.
So it's official. I'm rejoining the local church............NOT! ....JUST KiDDING!

Another bitter ranting against the church. That's all.

Doesn't sound like a cheerful giver to me. Better adjust your attitude first and then go and leave your gift at alms house.

To be fair, there's a lot of truth in what he wrote in regard to many churches these days.

You have serious issues man.....

The bible teaches to assemble together and (a) church will always have some honorable and not so honorable members just as all bodies do...

The bible does teach to not muzzle the ox that is worthy and this is applied unto a Pastor being supported

The bible does teach to study the word that gets preached and proclaimed and there are two legit reasons to vacate a pulpit...immorality and heresy<-----God has been using imperfect men to preach his perfect truth from the fall of man

The bible teaches to give double HONOR to the office and the man that GOD places in all true churches to lead and teach

The rest of your points are moronic and have no bearing on the truth!

Tithing~~Its not for the Church. We give based upon our own judgement and leading.

There are local assemblies around that still teach doctrinal truth. Do some research and find one.(It took us about a year)

And it is biblical to search out the right pastor teacher(who actually have the gift) and submit to his instruction. The Lord has gifted some men with the gift of pastor teacher, and that is where we get fed.

If it is like us, you will go through 100s of churches that just have a nice, moral believer or unbeliever that is well spoken for a pastor. It is our duty to find one that has the gift.

He will, study and teach, study and teach, study and teach. He will not just teach the gospel over and over and over and have 300 side ministries. You WILL know if you find one.

The church has flaws and we know it. Also, there are good things about the church that should be brought out.

In fact, many ppl are tired of being alone (and bitterly regret not getting their selfish will being done).

Last week I got a temporal job for one of my brothers, a simple one he can do easily and, afterwards, when I formally recommended him to get his hair cut, he almost cursed me with nasty worst I won´t mention here... My point, by mentioning this gossip is:

Loneliness or emotional isolation, sometimes is dued to our selfish ways and wrong decisions, similarly to those who missed a good job (no matter it was temporal) because they (or we) tried to rationalize certain things the wrong way...

Lonelinesess can be a blessing (sometimes)

Although togetherness takes longer to be perfect:

Considering what it says in his signature, I can believe it.lol
He only put that in his signature after I called him out for being a 'broken record' for the umpteenth-millionth time. But at least he acknowledges that trait of his. I guess.

I think he wears it as a badge of honor.
